    Got email confirmation from the Rotor team that IAPs are also coming for additional objects, that they will also add in the User file folder that was missing in 1.0...and ACP is coming, (as was mentioned up thread) (that's probably first)

    @Littlewoodg Cool beans :)

    Indeed!
    The guy Sergi was cool, he said that the missing User folder was suppose to be there but it got by them. He also mentioned they're keeping up with this thread. (So everybody say hi to Barcelona and Sergi and his people)

  • Thanks you guys for keeping in contact with the ROTORHEADS.. :)
    Nice to hear about the IAPs...
    I hope they fix the MIDI bug....

    Does anyone know what kind, or type of samples can be used in oscillators? Those are in the Factory folder and each wave has different samples...
    Maybe they can't be added since it is the factory folder....
    Just wondering ;)

    Unlike the sampler folders, that folder holds Factory synth presets (based on different osc, envelope, and other parameters set by designers) and also saves synth presets you design - it's not sample based, so can tweak the synth parameters, name and save your sound designs.

    It doesn't seem to save my tweaked renamed presets, or at least I can't find them after saving tweaked preset under a different name. Is this working for someone else?

    @studioAB
    You need a "User" folder set up inside the main "Presets" folder.
    If you have iFunbox you can just make an empty User folder and drop it into Rotors Preset folder, and it will be there for sampler instruments and synth presets you've made.

    If you're using iTunes it's a little less direct, you copy the Preset folder from inside iTunes Rotor files to your desktop, place a User folder in it, then copy it back into Rotor. iTunes will ask you if you want to replace existing Preset folder, and you do...

    Once there's a User folder the save button will take you to the Factory and User folder page and you will select User and it will save.

    The update will also add this User folder (so before you update you may want to back up your presets to desktop to reinstall after update)

    Thanks so much for the detailed help. I really appreciate it.

  • Unfortunately it looks as though the record in module only does mono which is disappointing unless there's a way to record in stereo. Hope this is a bug and not intentional.

  • Is there a way to disable the PLAY on opening ROTOR? It always starts ON...wish it didn't

  • Anyone know how to get one sequencer to sequence multiple objects? I see in one of the demos there's one sequencer connected to 3 objects and if you move it around you can get it to connect to 5 objects simultaneously, but I can't figure out how it's done. Hint?

    I'm still getting to know this program myself. To connect sequencer to more than one object, hold down sequencer object and drag across the other objects you want to connect to without lifting finger. You should see the connections. Sometimes you have to drag across several times for the connection to take.

    I'd tried that but was hit/miss... Mostly miss. But, looks like if you move it slow it's easier to get it to take. Thanks!
