Thanks. Seems reasonable.
Gonna buy it today
What is the std price?
Version update real soon will allow morphing between patches, and randomization of any individual parameter(s).
I've just got a circuit and am trying to integrate it into my iOS setup. This is a test track with various "things" - iOS (AUM, addictive and Animoog), my old Yamaha SY35 passing through a guitar zoom fx, and of course the circuit. It was fun :-)

from the hardware?
No, you need to use the editor. I bought the Pro upgrade, working fine here and some nice improvements. The Randmize thing is interesting, used that a lot on my Virii over the years. One thing is for sure, if you're willing to connect a computer to your Circuit, there's a ton of ways to customize the sounds for your own needs.
From the Pro editor, also nice in the M4L version is all Params are Automatable so can finally Control from hardware, save presets etc.
those are all really great improvements, but in keeping with the nature of the circuits discovery, simplicity, and immediacy I hope they include these features in and from the hardware in the nearest of futures.
Head asplode
And talking of Circuit things, I think this sample set sounds really good (from @tarekith):
I have recently bought a Mininova...and for those who have not been reading the £300 synth thread....I have made an interesting discovery....
The Mininova can be used to edit the synths on the circuit. The circuit is a cut down version of the Mininova engine....and where the 2 engines DO have the same parameter they both use the same CC or NRPN......
Some of the parameters have slightly different values.....Filter routing for example has more options on the Mininova than on the Circuit so some 'translation' of these is needed, as well as the waveforms and Mod Destinations... but a quick look at the MIDI implementation charts shows these.
That sample set sounds great @Tarekith. Please post back here if you make a video using them. Would love to hear how you put them together.
@AndyPlankton Is it possible to save the tweaked sounds? Have you tried doing a 1:1 sysex patch dump from the MiniNova to the Circuit?
"How to create a string sound on a synthesizer". Uses the Circuit editor for the tutorial.
He also has a nice circuit + custom samples + acoustic piano tune:

Will do!
Looking forward to this.....
Don't know if these two are already here somewhere but found them both inspiring (ears and eyes):
So, I'm curious. I think the idea of the Circuit is brilliant, and it looks like great fun. My question is how much sound design is actually possible with just the Circuit, standing alone (i.e. no editor on a laptop, etc. -- JUST the Circuit). When the iPad works for music it's amazing but it can be frustrating...and of course, it just doesn't have the same feel as hardware.
Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

It can be both instantly pleasing and hugely frustrating at the same time....as you are working blind from the parameters you are adjusting you cannot plan a sound, you can (and regularly do) happen across a sound.
Over time you will learn each individual patch and what the controls do to that sound, but that is a pretty long process.
So, if you have a sound in your head and you want to make it, it will be very difficult, if however you have a tune in your head and no idea of what sound to use it is pretty quick and easy to find one.
Thank you -- that last part I think indicates it's not for me. I always start with the sound, and enjoy building/creating/designing sounds. Too bad.
I wish they would make a sampler Circuit.
You can load samples in the Circuit now.
If you use an editor it is totally different.......my current editor of choice?.....my Mininova
Mmm, I saw that! But what can you do to them?
I wish that the Electribe S hadn't been so disappointing. Still tempted to buy and try... Is there really no middle ground between the Octatrack and the Electribe S? Maybe a new iPad would be it!
I wish pitch adjustment for samples was more fluid on the Circuit. Essentially pitch can only be set once for just the triggering of the sample. If it had variable pitch automation I would use my Circuit all the time.
Pitch, sample end, distortion/drive, and hi-lo filtering. It's basic, but greatly expands what you can do with the little box.
I had fun enough with it to now be considering a volca sample.
After buying the Circuit am trying to keep a close eye on myself not to fall into the hardware pit
, in terms of the Volca Sample (which does look fun) is there no app or combination of the same that does similar/variants etc of this?
ModStep using its internal sampler ?
@Tarekith
Will we able to load your Live Set House Samples ?
I'm really looking forward to it!
For all Circuit/Ipad users a new template
has appeared lately on Liine Lemur site.
It's an I phone template but an Ipad version
with randomizer is apparently on its way. Cool, no?
Here's da link:

For sure. Elastic Drums is awesome.
