Also grossly offensive.
Quick this thread is in need of a Waaaaammbulence and a box of pacifiers. The political chat here is always entertaining at least.
Or NanoStudio
Sunvox is free, correct?
I think I had it.......................hmm
I am not going to ask what political chat you are referring to.
By actually asking in a circuitous route.
Never mind, don't tell me.

I didn't say you, or any Leave voters were any of those things, so I'm confused as to why you'd drop that into your response. Bit weird to be honest, almost like you're trying to set the thread up for a heated debate.
The effects of Brexit on the economy are relevant to any discussion about Apple, or any other manufacturers products from Marmite to laptops, via music apps. Things are now more expensive than they were a few months back, and they're going to get more expensive next year. This will have an impact on consumer spending power, which will affect the companies that supply the products. Apple don't exist in a bubble and are subject to any changes in the economic environment as are we all and this will have a knock-on effect on what products they put out in future, and the way they support existing products.
There isn't the merest hint of politics in my post - and after all Brexit was an economic decision, rather than a political one. Or so we're told anyway.
Get used to it - you're going to hear a lot about the impacts of the new economic challenges we're going to be facing and it affects everyone, and everything. Even music apps.
To be fair this doesn't surprise me, apple seems like it's consolidating its range, intel has been struggling due to the competition from arm based chips and the massive shift in the industry. I bought an airport extreme last year and hardly use it, surely they have all the metrics to see who is using what with their products.
As for politics in the modern era, I think the confuse, shaft and acquire school of thought has come into play.
Ditto. We just upgraded two months ago from DSL. Now we are on whatever Charter offers, cable internet? I don't know. It's about as slow as our DSL was.
I wonder why this unit wasn't sold to another company? Companies do that kind of thing all the time. Was it not profitable anymore? So no one would buy it? Or does apple not need the money?(well obviously they don't).
Apple just got rid of the headphone jack, and that was like the greatest decision in the world or something, so, this must be too?
We don't have wi-fi, or wireless internet at home. So, I guess this whole thing doesn't affect me. Neither does Brexit, but I'da voted to leave too.
Apple's KILLING it!
...just not in a good way
Sorry if it caused offence, but why has it caused offence? To compare the past with the present (or possible future)?

not cool. Comparing an individual's views here in this forum to the views of the population who voted in the world's worst individual... yes this is inappropriate, a cheap shot, and grossly offensive.
If there were a good place to argue politics on the internet, (somewhere else, please) I would suggest you not make it personal.
looks like we are in thanksgiving mood already
What are the alternatives?
I looked for something to fix my wi-fi drop-out problems in the general router aisle and was confused. Then I walked to the Apple section, bought an Airport Express for $100, plugged it in, made some simple settings and -- poof! -- all my connection problems were gone.
I took it to mean, just like the people of germany, people in the uk and us with the election of the donald have been hoodwinked, by right wing populist front men, with exceedingly rich sponsors. For me the tragedy in all of this isn't just learning lessons from history, but intelligent human beings getting caught out by something as simple as reverse psychology, standing up to the elites and all that jazz.
Thanks for the memories
They just cannot help themselves. And it is amusing to watch even when in full wacko mode.

Oh, come on, you can't seriously think that comparing people who want out of the EU to those who voted for Hitler would not cause offence,
This is the mentality of Apple. They know best, even when their great idea is transparently not so great for customers. Too much power and too few reasons to listen to what people actually want to buy.
yeah,
Back to topic,
Ladies & Gentleman,
please.
Im really worried how things are being handled @ apple now.
Lol, the headphones that don't ship are supposed to be the wireless battery loaded future, and wireless routers and backups are a thing of the past.
Use something else and backup with iCloud?
Huh?
Gee, and they are not on drugs.
Maybe they have just scored a new supply.....of drugs
If we are to learn from history we should not shy away from the horrors that have been wrought by leaders from the past, we may hope and wish these horrors never happen again, but looking across the world, a world bound together, more than ever throughout history, we now see the rise of nationalistic ideals across many nations, here in the UK, the USA and France even. If you are indeed offended, you should have also been offended by some of the things promoted by the Brexit campaigners, by Donald Trumps campaign, by Marine Le Pen's campaign?
The right wing and their barroom clichés are on the way up every where now.
Sorry
Well to bring things back to the topic of Apple related things, will the President Elect, be repatriating the Apple manufacturing from China back to the USA?
Left, right, left, right the jackboots from both parties will continue their tantrums even though the vast majority of the worlds population finds them both to be loathsome at best. To say the very least their opinions of themselves continues at an all time high for sure!
That's a good question. If so, will prices get even higher? Will apple be a luxury brand with nothing affordable for average folks?
