We're REDPILLING the Audiobus Forum! I love it.

    Hi, Patric.
@Sebastian, how do you feel about people purposely farting up your forum?

    Hey man!
Yea, really curious how @sebastian justifies keeping this thread around that has no musical relation whatsoever.

Mask off and evil plan revealed. Zoiks.

Well, of course, they are going to swear fealty to a man who looks like a fucking Cheeto...

Attacking someone on their looks is so mean. I thought liberals were above that. Really disappointed in you folks!

Oh, I think that a television game show host who runs beauty pageants would not mind it in the least. The real insult was the favored food stuff. You know, a keyboard army travels on its substantial stomach and all.
I'm assuming that due to your ilk's personal experience with orange-colored dicks, you guys could not help but elect one.

  • Im unsure if I should let this continue. There is zero conversation now.

  • I read the first maybe three posts and it immediately went the predictable way. @lala yes, this is a place where you talk to people who are friendly. Usually everyone tries to be helpful if they can. I don't want to wade into whether I agree with your personal views on religion, politics, or sexual preference. Don't let that get twisted into, "I don't give a shit what you think". That's not the case at all. I do very much care what you think, as much as every other member on this forum, hionetly. We will agree sometimes, and sometimes we won't. That's ok. But in each case, the topic should be iOS music making. This entry of yours here has introduced an element to this forum that many of us (especially those of us that have been here since day one) have intentionally avoided. Not because our heads are in the sand, or because we don't have the guts to speak up about it, but because we cherish the few places we have left where we can just "hang out" without arguing with strangers. Your post has tarnished that. Period. We all make mistakes, and nobody here worth their salt is going to hold it against you long term. But own the mistake. Ask Sebastian to kill the thread if you can't. You don't need to issue any apology if you don't feel so inclined. Just some friendly advice. Stop it please.

Oh, you should be worried if you stand in our way. It's a glorious new day.

    Oh Christ.

I've avoided this, avoided the Christian Bale ass hat, and really try to keep the AudioBus iOS music production forum to iOS music production.

But enough. 2 years ago if everyone of these Trump Zombies was asked what they thought of Donald Trump they'd say "the rich dude who fires people on TV?" Not what a great political mind he is, not what a compassionate champion of the middle class he is and certainly not what a classy, level headed representative of American values he was.

The megalomaniacal fraud knowingly let a foreign power interfere with an American Presidential election all the while throwing up the smoke screen that it was he who was the victim of a rigged process.

He's incompetent, unqualified and dangerously erratic as his Twitter feed for the last 5 years has explicitly shown. He is a low class, silverspooned con artist who gave a pro wrestling style heel promo that all the sub IQ80 closeted bigots who were upset that the black guy won bought hook, line and sinker.

The GOP has forgotten that we're all politically both sides of the same coin. Winning at all costs is all that matters and they all are complicit in participating in the most egregious attack on the democracy of the United States ever. They've let a rooster loose in the hen house and knowingly have put the future of our country in unprecedented peril.

GOP's knew from jumpstreet that he was a egotistical buffoon and everytime they could've made a stand they would for a few days, then they'd capitulate because they couldn't bear that Hillary might win. They'd rather have an insane, sociopathic man child be leader of the free world than "that bitch", a fully competent, experienced States woman.

Those who voted for him and all of those who could have voted but didn't are just as complicit. The real crime is that 3 million more people chose the other candidate but since we still adhere to an archaic, stoneage system (the Electoral College) that was put in place to appease SLAVE OWNERS, Trump squeaked by, by less than 1% in the 3 states that gave him the EC 270 standard.

With Russia's hacking taking an unknown toll, the FBI putting on a false flag operation a week before the election and the news media giving Trump 100x the TV advertising while he claimed they hampered him, tomorrow's sham of a Inauguration will go down as the nadir if American history. He shouldn't be President and the damage he will bring is frightening to ponder.

It used to be that the GOP was the "patrioric" party, acting as if they had the patent on patriotism. Look to the days after 9/11 when if you dared criticize Bush Jr or not hang a flag off your window you were deemed a commie. Curious then that the GOP now support a man proven to be in bed with Russia with Putin's hand pushed squarely up his ass.

Trump and those who support him are not Americans, they're traitors, end of story.

Ahahahaha man this is so glorious. #Triggered And so stupid. Your whole rant is so dumb, it starts with the line "knowingly let a foreign power interfere with an American Presidential election". Are you really so dumb, that you are not aware, that the person to prevent such a thing would have been Barry Hussein Soetoro? Thankfully, your garbage becomes so obvious, that any person with a brain can safely stop reading there.

    Get help, loser.

Like most young Republican husks you offer no argument aside from "Yeah, but Obama!" and reel off a bunch of lame Breitbart & 4Chan memes to really "get me". The way you deal in absolutes and broad strokes makes any kind of nuanced discussion impossible. It's the same with Trump. That's why I refuse to try and "go high" when GOP duncecaps spread disinformation and spew vitriol & hate. This LibDem gives receipts and has no problem calling an ignorant asshole an ignorant asshole.

If it makes you sleep at night believing that Russia are our friends, CheetoJesus is America's savior and that his Swamp Cabinet will do anything more than make the poor & middle class worse off than Nixon or Bush Jr ever could, go for it.

I said my piece, which is based on fact, not FoxNews drivel and Milo talking points. I could have a more stimulating discussion with ball lint, so take care & be cool...

If you actually do care about this forum, I implore you to pull yourself up and out of this fray now. Swallow those next snarky comments you think might change someone else's opinion. Be the adult. Cut it the fuck out now. This is not the place for this kind of bullshit, and I'd like to think you already know that. Just....stop. Now.

Btw conway is also part of the council for national policy.

My only hope is, that a lot of people in these circles are not ideologues but opportunists, and jump on the Trumpism way of politics.

They're deeply ideological and also opportunists, they won't jump on the trump bandwagon as they selected him in a closed door meeting in the fall of 2015, over five other republican presidential candidates who also had half an hour to sway them, he is their candidate, conway is his handler to make sure their needs are met.

At that level they are all aligned against us, which is why there is so much division and we fight amongst ourselves so much. These people are part of a wider network that includes the house of saud, which is one of the main sources of funding for those islamic extremists you hate so much, I hate them too, but see the bigger picture, we are being used and manipulated.

Btw the people who suffer most from islamic terrorism are disproportionately other muslims, if you have time watch this documentary, it's based on an operation called gladio, that got uncovered in italy. They were using people from the far right, ex nazis, etc to carry out terrorist attacks all across europe during the 70's on civilians, then blame it on communists and left wingers. They go into detail with some of the people involved serving prison sentences when it was filmed, it's an eye opener. They (cia) had a plan called the strategy of tension, which mirrors almost exactly the terrorist attacks recently in france, germany etc.

Sorry, but i don't believe that. I always factor in human incompetence into these elaborate theories. Trump was an accident. He got underestimated. They got lazy. It's human nature.

We would not see Michael Flynn as National Security Advisor. Or Jeff Sessions as Attorney General.

Was trying to find sources that you wouldn't just dismiss, is hard to find anything on the council for national policy as they are so secretive, but I did me some sleuthing and came up with a selection of sources.

First is this black tie ball for the donald to be held tonight 6.30-12 midnight at the hyatt regency capitol hill, and guess who one of the sponsors is, other sponsors are different groups that are aligned, mainly ran by the members cnp.

    http://www.faithfreedomfutureball.com

Second is this piece from the splc, yes bain of the right but had a nice little primer on cnp, quote,
'The Council for National Policy (CNP) is, in the words of The New York Times, “a little-known club of a few hundred of the most powerful conservatives in the country,” an organization so tight-lipped that it tells its people not to admit membership or even name the group. It is important enough that last fall, according to an account in The National Review, Donald Trump and five other Republican presidential candidates each took 30 minutes to address the group; the conservative journal reported that Trump was by far the favorite candidate.'

They even have a copy of the 2014 membership list, interesting reading.

    https://www.splcenter.org/hatewatch/2016/05/17/council-national-policy-behind-curtain

Then there is this, regarding vetting george bush and sarah palin, quite interesting, a taste.

'Last week, while the media focused on the spectacle in Denver, the country’s most influential conservatives met at a hotel in downtown Minneapolis for a group introduction to Sarah Palin. They are members of the Council for National Policy, an ultra-secretive cabal that networks wealthy right-wing donors together with top conservative operatives to plan long-term movement strategy. Members have included Tony Perkins, James Dobson, Grover Norquist, Tim LaHaye and Paul Weyrich. At a secret 2000 meeting of the CNP, George W. Bush promised to nominate only pro-life judges; in 2004, then-Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist told the group, “The destiny of the nation is on the shoulders of the conservative movement.”

    http://maxblumenthal.com/2008/09/test/

Wikipedia has a bit of info on them too, this part follows on to the link after nicely, especially the last sentence.
'CNP's meetings are closed to the general public, reportedly to allow for a free-flowing exchange of ideas. The group meets three times per year.[8] This policy is said to be similar to the long-held policy of the Council on Foreign Relations, to which the CNP has at times been compared. CNP's 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status was revoked by the IRS in 1992 on grounds that it was not an organization run for the public benefit. The group successfully challenged this ruling in federal court. A quarterly journal aimed at educating the public, promised in the wake of this incident, has not substantially materialized. The group has launched a website that contains selected speeches from past gatherings.'

And from there own website a link to the talks given by the 5 other republican candidates, October 2015, curiously donalds speech is missing.

    http://www.cfnp.org/policy-counsel/pc---october-2015-index

Don't fall for the illusion, elitists know what they are doing, they're pro's at this and always have a candidate of their choosing no matter who wins, donalds rebel outsider image is a media concoction.

  • @boone51 I'm with you for the most part, but there's really nothing about this thread that's much different from the other political threads. It's just that with Brexit going down and Inauguration Day in the US tomorrow, the foaming-at-the-mouth vitriol spewing has reached a fevered pitch.

Cfr are the warmongering scum of the earth, i agree with that. I'm sure even Trump got some pressure, to include at least some of the establishment. I'm pretty sure he got hell in some backdoor meetings. They wanted him to appoint Romney of all people to secretary of state. He had to send out Conway to the talkshows, to rally the base against Romney. It was the weirdest thing. But, i'm pretty sure he won't be told what to do. He's trying to navigate this somehow, and not get killed. (Literally)

There is an interesting story about how the intelligence community sent president carter a little friendly warning, it's very surreal. Two men were arrested in connection to a assassination attempt, one was called raymond lee harvey the other osvaldo espinoza ortiz, three bullets were left behind in a row, from the hotel room another man involved in the plot had checked out from the day of carters visit.

To be fair though that golden shower dossier was pure comedy gold, look like they are just playing at the moment. One thing I don't understand is why so many men and women of the people are millionaires or billionaires, almost like poor and middle class people can't be trusted.

They used the golden showers thing, because they know it will stick with maybe enough people. There are morons in this thread that actually believe, that Trump is a russian puppet. People are so gullible it is kinda sad. Maybe enough to justify drastic measures. I predict dramatic and chaotic things to happen. Nothing will go back to "normal" anytime soon.

It's similar to a thing that happened over here with david cameron, he had a thing with a pig in his collage days, there was even an episode of black mirror that featured a politician doing unnatural acts with a pig in a wink, wink, nudge, nudge kind of way, think he would of got the message. Leverage is what it's know as, pee pee gate is just the warning shot, which is why it was so shoddy, I've tried to avoid the pizzagate thing as it seemed too partisan, but what little I've come across makes me think john podesta is a wrong un.

It appears partisan at the beginning, but if check the main investigation hub on voat.co you'll discover a lot of Sanders supporters there as well. It is disgusting, and really nobody wants it to be real, but deep down you know, this is real. It isn't new either. In the 80s UK Thatcher Government there was a huge pedophile ring, who got revealed only decades later. MI5 was involved of course, since there is no better blackmail leverage than pedophilia.

I agree with you on this it is disgusting what happens, I watched a doc a while back think it was called conspiracy of silence, by yorkshire tv. One topic I don't like looking into is pedophilla of the elite, as you know they will get away with it like saville, don't know if I buy obama or hillary being involved though, bill, john and donald I could believe, power does seem to corrupt absolutely.

I hear you, and I understand your point entirely. my point is simple, and if you correlate some of what I'm about to say with your interactions outside of this forum, so be it.

The solution to bickering is NOT more bickering. You can link to a thousand different articles and articulate your point better than Einstein explained the theory of relativity. It will not affect the beliefs of a person you do not know (and in many cases, even if you *do know them personally) who have come to their conclusions based not on what aggressive strangers say anonymously online, but on what they started learning when they were six years old from their parents and family and churches and schools. Most folks know who they are, or at least, who they want to be. If you recognize that basic fact that applies to each of us, then you should be able to realize that your post on Audiob.us, or Facebook, or the comments section of your favorite news site is nothing more than a vanity act. And if in that vanity act, you spew hate, not only have you surrendered any ability to reach someone, in the eyes of the person who doesn't think like you do, you've lost the battle completely.

I know only a few on this forum personally. But I cherish the feedback of everyone regardless of how well I know them, because they took the time out of their busy life to drop into this friendly little "cafe" we have here, and offer some assistance to complete strangers in most cases. It would break my heart if we allowed the chaos that's all around us every day to infect that sacred place. Let this be the place where we can just share the occasional magical moment we have when trying to express ourselves through music and nothing more. That's enough. For me anyway.

    I don't know.
Its plastic and fake if We can't talk about this.
Don't uhh about when I talk about my sex life, I listen to you guys talking about wife's and kids all the time and that is exactly the same thing. You just don't notice it because of your sexual preference. ;)
Not talking about politics is absolutely impossible.
Buy this or don't buy or use this is totally political. ;)
I don't need help with iOS music creation and just giving noobs help is boring.
What is really missing here is an ignore blacklist so you can simply ignore users that rub you the wrong way. It's cool you just see xxx said something but you won't see what if you are logged in ;)

I'm afraid you may have misunderstood what I was trying to say. I don't identify you with any political party. I don't know where you live even. I don't care who or what you like to have sex with as long as they consent (unless we're talking about an inanimate sex toy, in which case I always follow the "I shall break you" directive I stole from Ivan in Rocky IV). All I know about "Lala" is that "I wish I could play my damn guitar and make it sound like he does."

  • Huh? I don't play guitar.

  • Then I must have you confused with someone else who I admire. In that case you can go suck an egg, you sniveling worm...

I do trust you know I'm joking about that last comment. But I am about to embark on a thorough search to find out who I'm mistaking you for. Apologies for that, but it changes the content of what I was saying not at all.

Exactly. Partisan politics & the absolute abandonment of compromise, by both parties, has set the country back decades.

We're all in this together, as Americans. The other countries of the civilized world, even those in opposition to us (like North Korea, etc), look to the United States as the barometer for a multitude of geopolitical, economic and social factors.
We showed our ass in 2016 and with the division and ill communication it's difficult to be optimistic about 2017.

Throughout time, from the minstrels, to the playwrights, to the rock & rollers, art has been a mirror for society's faults & triumphs. Now more than ever we artists, we musicians & producers, need to communicate all the feelings represented in this thread (rage, apathy, fear, disconnection, hope) AND ALSO provide an emollient for those feelings to unite & touch human beings in a positive way. Whether that's making someone's toe tap after a stressful day or conveying love through sound helping bridge the gaps in the human experience, that's what music & art is all about.

And this forum should be focused on that... connecting & sharing through music, celebrating the similarities we all have rather than warring over the differences.

I'm done. Even if someone says I'm a lightweight lib with shit for brains, my participation in this particular discussion is over. Be cool...

  • The dissidents. What a great name for a band.. But it's already taken dammit

  • Can the SJWs please get back to the subject of music making?

    Thank you, much better. :)

  • @boone51 I don't participate in these threads with the idea I'm going to win anybody over. It's just a form of entertainment. I get a kick out of seeing both sides lose their shit. To me, it seems unavoidable as I see it everywhere without seeking it out. I guess my point is let the victors have their victory lap and opponents have their say, then let's see where we land once the dust settles.

  • Listed dissidents?

I've messaged the thread creator that this is not acceptable and I will take further steps if it happens again.
