This is getting really childish now,
To bad we had a nice adult conversation here.
Nicely done.
Again, we can discuss different views without calling names. Some people here who surely voted Trump will take issue if one insists call them all "alt rightists" (that is, neo-nazis) just because a very small minority of the people who voted Trump are indeed "alt rightists".
Nobody likes, and most won't simply accept quietly, to be called racists, bigots, fascists, sexists etc (that's the meaning of "Alt Right", folks!) when it's not true or fair. I very much doubt there is a single neonazi in this forum, be it among Trump voters or not. Don't forget Trump won the election with the votes of quite a few liberal states. That was the real surprise and the real reason of why Hillary lost.
Trump itself is a Liberal of sorts, old friend of the Clintons btw, who very cleverly managed to fine tune a populist rhetoric that appealed to people that call themseves conservatives and awarded himself the Republican nomination agains the wishes of the party leaders themselves! Let the bad people who voted Trump for the wrong reasons (that is, people who bought the dishonest propaganda that pictures him as a modern Mussolini) to weep when they discover they were played as fulls. Now, that will amount to victory.
Bound to happen eventually. They always resort to ad hominem attacks and name calling because they really have nothing interesting to say.
Don't play lawyerball with me. You shouldn't be making ugly comments about a major world religion and not expect some hard pushback at a minimum. It's wrong and you shouldn't do it, and you know that.
You seem to be awful familiar with the proceeding here considering you joined a few days ago. Let me guess -- long time lurker?
Well that's because I wasn't here yet.
Ok, children to the kids table.
Adults, gather here.
Poker in the front, liquor in the back.
Dimes for nine, and not crack.
Saw politics and religion- gag
That's hilarious. Perhaps you weren't aware, Inspector, that the First Amendment primarily protects the freedom of religious worship, mentioning the freedom of expression (or speech) second.
Does that analogy also apply to the knuckledraggers of the right's cultish obsession with Islam?
So now you're comparing Muslims to Nazis. I am done with you.
Bad news for you and your kind.

P.S.: Trump, before the campaign, never opposed reproductive rights (I think we all here agree women own their own bodies), gay marriage (I think we all agree everyone has the right to be happy) or a atheism or a secular state, separated from religious influence. Culturally, thank god, the left won in America. That's what matter. Trump won, but Colorado made Marijuana legal, and soon other states will follow suit. Trump won, but FoxNews reports about Chealsea Manning, since she identified herself as a woman, as the woman she is, with naturality - how it should be. Trump won, and will replace Obama's socialized medicine by his own socialized medicine, one that hopefully will be better designed.
Trump won because he addressed the lower income american people's fears, unlike the Democrats. He made clear that, regardless of the recovery Obama promoted (and I think he was a great president and would easily won a third term, was it allowed), it was not enough and he will keep pressing, unless Hilary's campaign, who decline to make substantial promises in favor of highlighting how awesome she is. The way she conspired to force Bernie out of the game also didn't help her a lot.

Let's leave this troll alone, shall we? Holy shit, I need a shower. Welcome back, Patric.
Possibly a former Vice President at Pierce & Pierce...
Don't ask for his business card!
He lied his face off to people who bought what he was selling. We're gonna build a wall! We're gonna deport all the illegals! We're gonna repeal Obamacare! We're gonna bring jobs back to coal country! A complete load of shit, all of it.
A lot of the people who bought it have already realized they got conned, which is why Trump's approval ratings have gone from bad to the toilet since the election. That shows how soft his support was in the first place.
The other thing Trump sold was bigotry. It's a sad reality that bigotry still plays well for a lot of people in this country. And mind you, I think Trump sold that part best of all, because he is truly a bigot.
I think @InjectorGadget and the new Trump nominee are not refering to Islam the religion, but Islamism, the political movement that opose secularism in Islamic countries the same way we all agree that a Christian theocracy like Crotian fascist Iron Guard is to be opposed with all our strengths. There is a problem with the terminology used that is causing a lot of unecessary trouble here.
That piece of shit Flynn isn't gonna do too well in jail. Something he shoulda thought about before committing treason.
Moderate islamism is still islamism, @InjectorGadget: it's different from "moderate Islam". "Moderate syrian rebels" are still radical jihadists, so it's not a good example to support your statement here. Indeed there are secular islamic countries, where there is a clear line between politics and religion (Turkey was one of them until Erdogan, an Islamist, won). The enemy are the Islamists, not Islam. And we agree here: a jihadist, regardless of how "moderate" he or she presents himself or herself, is a radical.>

Show me a single presidential who didn't make empty promises, in America or elsewhere, to win an election, and I promise I will rest my case. Don't get me wrong, if I voted in the US I'd vote Bernie Sanders, but even Bernie made his fair share of unrealistic promises.
And in America they kill ppl with a letal injection.
Come down from your high horse.
There's never been an American presidential candidate whose campaign consisted of nothing but lies and overt bigotry, and who was assisted by a hostile foreign government seeking to degrade our democratic process. That's the issue.
More broadly, as our outgoing President often advised, we should not let the perfect be the enemy of the good.
With all honesty, do you really think Trump is a Russian puppet and that Russia is the enemy?
LOL
ITT: A bunch of people directly responsible for getting Trump elected.
Did Donald Trump incite Russia to hack into the Democrats server?
I have no doubt - none - that Trump is a nothing but a compromised asset of Putin. Trump is a fool who allowed himself to go deep into debt, and the opportunistic Putin kept him afloat in exchange for his services (and preyed upon certain of Trump's foibles, obtaining the kompromat as an extra insurance policy). Putin, unlike Trump, is no fool. But he is an inhumane dictator whose interests are inimical to the people of both the United States and Russia.
@lala, don't blame death penalty - by the way, I also strongly oppose it - on Trump. In fact, I don't think he supports it, and also it's a matter fror the states to decide, and currently most states don't apply it. Even in the death penalty states, it sometimes take decades for anyone to be executed, so most will die in prision, which amounts to imprisonment for life (which I support btw).
No it's the same thing. Both kill ppl based on their laws, the only difference is that in Islamic countries there is no difference between law and religions laws.
Wow, when your imagined scenario becomes real to you with no facts to back it up your definitely not going to be taken seriously. Trump Russian fake news bwahahaha. Get back to us once you find something other than inuendo and wishful scenarios.
