Yes, it does.
Have tested with my Bluetooth Roli Lightblock and also my Korg NanoKey Studio.
Excellent. I’m thinking about getting an lpk25 wireless but those Korg nanokeys look tasty
Hi
I am using steppolyarp unit as an au midi to drive zeoon. However when I save the project it does not save the settings or Any of steppolyarp within that particular track and the au midi input is left blank again? I’d this a big or is there a specific reason for this? Thanks
I have solved that meanwhile, but the fix has not been released yet.
Awesome thank you! Any idea when release will be?
Does anyone know how to get this to work with Ruismaker Noir. It never seems to present it as an AU option at any place or point?
It’s showing here when I add an instrument track.
Thanks WIM if got working!
Hi dev - there seems to be the same problem saving the preset of audio damage effects as mentioned earlier with steppolyarp. When saving no EOS or dubstation effects states are saved and come back up as default when loading a project. If this fix also part of the same one you mentioned earlier? Thanks?
You might want to take another look at those Audio Damage plugins. Yes, the name of the preset shows as “default”, but if you look at the actual parameters of the plugin, I think you’ll see that they are the same as you left them. I checked this with EOS in AEM just now.
This is common behavior for AUv3’s. The name of the preset isn’t recalled, but the settings are. In one way this makes sense, because you may have altered settings after picking that preset and may have not saved the preset. If I remember correctly, it may not be possible for devs to know or retrieve the preset name when state saving.
At any rate, I think if you look again at EoS, you’ll see that it the settings are actually the same as you left them when you saved the project, though not the preset name.
Great explanation. Thanks you very much WIM
Morning Dev. Ok so I have been trying to use Rozeta as a midi in and it seems that similar to my query with steppolyarparp above that AEM will not state save its sequencing steps that are programmed in. When I load a track back up Rozeta is completely reset.
That’s odd. I just tried and it worked fine with Rozeta XOX.
[edit] but if I load StepPolyArp Unit, and save then reopen the project, SPA is no longer in the project.
Yeah might have to use xox instead
Why so quite here from the dev?
I already explained that AEM does not save the settings of a AU MIDI plug-in and this will be fixed in a next release.
After the run he just had, with version after version after version, I'd say @dwrae deserves a break if he has decided to take one.
My only existing concern (after the next release) is the bug where the first part of a midi recording is hidden/doesn't show up if count-in/metronome is selected. And @dwrae asked me to send info, and I've been busy so I haven't been able to do it. I can't blame him for that.
So, I say it's ok for it to be a bit quiet in here.
All good dev. Thanks!!! Looking forest to the update.
It saved my life when recording my bass for my band on the run. Thanks @dwrae !!!! Great work!
Version 2.0.7 is now released with the fix for the AU MIDI parameters not being saved.
Running on gen 1 IPad Pro 12.9, and I can’t get rid of the cpu usage is to high error, I think I may have to give up on this DAW environment, as it’s seeming to dance around reliability.
You can just switch off the check in the settings
Are you referring to the preferences, where you can switch off the “stop on cpu overload”?
Yes
Can I use iCloud Drive instead of google drive/Dropbox?
No, like usual, Apple needed to things differently/more complex: iCloud does not use a folder structure, which makes things much more complicated, so we do not support it.
Thanks for the reply. I’ve bought the app - which I do like working with - so I’ll work round it.
Tony
Perhaps you can use the Files app if you are running iOS11 or higher to sync with iCloud.
Will do thanks. Totally new to this iOS music making so finding my way around still. Ta!
