Thanks for all the suggestions guys, it's a tough one to crack.
We should also mention that it has to be fairly short as the App Store only gives you a certain number of characters when featured on the home page e.g.
At this point we want to entice someone who's interested in music making to tap on it.. then, once they're on our app page, we have the job of convincing them that they need it - that's a different challenge all together! All the reviews you guys have left really helps at this 2nd stage so we really appreciate it!

Reminds me of a podcast I listened to yesterday about logo creation. One of the main points was that sometimes you just need to ride out initial reservations about a change. Eventually people get used to most changes. KRFT is already cemented in the minds of a core of users and it made a positive first impression on many. Probably some advantages to sticking with the name.
I don't think they were considering renaming 'KRFT' so much as the descriptor after it in the title in the app store.
We used to do this kind of exercise on a whiteboard (of course) and then have a separate second board set-up and encourage people ("there are no silly ideas here folks etc etc") to come up with stuff as stupid and wrong and random as possible. Those that were really off-the-charts got written on the second board (hey, badge of honor).
Eventually the second board serves two key purposes: 1. Sometimes you DO come up with something great because it was so ridiculous or 2. (more commonly) when you mull over your final choice and are still a bit uncertain you can go back to the second board, look at all the dumb ideas and feel better about what you've settled on. Here's what's on the second board so far:
