Well of course!
I just need your email ! Msg me!
@Alex fox With my imported audio (16 bit wav), the start point of the sample is not consistent. I'm not confusing this with timing/quantize either. When triggering, it sometimes begins playback from some point other than the beginning.. I'm not rapid-firing either. I even wait for the sample to finish playing. I made sure release is at zero. It also doesn't matter if the behavior is set to hold or trigger. Time strech is off.
Also, before the latest update i was virtually promised a no quantize option for triggering cells. I was told it'd be easy. Perhaps forgot? Still nothing but love for you and this app!
It might be how the sync/cue settings are set up. If it's sync is "Master" it will line up the start of the loop/sample with the start of whatever else is playing. Try setting both the cue and synchronisation to 1/16.
RE: No quantize option I think I forgot, sorry. I'll try and get it into 1.3![B) B)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/sunglasses.png)
How about a color change to show which 'Group' is selected (button color/shade).. ?
MusicMan4Christ and JohnnyGoodyear many thx for replies. I'm still not convinced. Midi out is a must to really make it shine. Now I can do much more with apps i already have. audiobus/aum, fugue machine (mad love), synth i choose, fx combo like flux/turnado/korg (owning one is enough) and maybe gestrument for twists.
I really like the sequencer in Kraft tho, the way you can seq/arrange. Do you know if just a sequencer like this exists? Thats the only thing I'm interested in here. Anyway great app devs
There's nothing else out there that lets you control loops, dials, effects all from one customised interface quite like KRFT. The customisability around loop synchronisation and touch interactivity opens up some really interesting playing options. For example, You can set up a few drum fills and just drag over them and come up with something you'd never think of in your own imagination. (e.g.
)
There's also something magical about being able to control a composition and a bunch of effects, fills, sfx etc all at the same time.
But I would say that.. coz I made it![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
Yes Alex, it really has a great sequencing capabilities. Great for modern music making.clear, easy yet very powerfull. Pure creativity, fun and enjoyment
Please, please, please, please midi out. in top priority
Each to his own.
I just realised how difficult it will be to make it a midi host.. something like Aum for audio # icelandic post-rock band (sorry, not funny) ..so I will support you for now, and see if I like it. Cheers
It could be done .. in time![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Wow!!!! Got KRFT linked to LayR synth via Link To Midi app and had the kitArp2 LayR performance playing in sync!!!! Oh wow what a beauty of sound guys!!!!! Speechless!
I've been running KRFT linked up to Troublemaker and Patterning. Highly recommended. I got around the hassle of having to switch apps away from my beautiful surface to control transport of Troublemaker and Patterning by using AB Remote on my phone. But a MIDI CC/PC button in KRFT would be even better! ;-)
Great news guys
Alex, I just thought about something. Could it be possible to .. let say, you're ready and set to improvise with all tools', then you hit 'rec' button, and it start to record all you're doing, in midi format. up to 5minutes. Then when you stop, you could go to a new window, and be able to edit those parts, you didnt like (with clear gui) and built tracks like that. Daydreaming
@Alex fox Two things that might be nice.
Since you've got minimal vector graphics and they should be easy to scale, it would be nice if the user could press a button and your play surface autofills the screen. Let's say you've only got 8 items and plenty of screen real estate left, it'd be nice if you could use that extra space and have big ol' controls if you wanted.
Related to the first, but once you've got your play surface situated and ready to play, it'd be nice to be able to hide the app navigation at the top while you're playing it.
Feature request: the ability to launch groups from AB Remote.
Very similar to #1, I did always wish that when editing an object, that the size is scalable. Just like in the Beatsurfing app. There is a slider that allows you to make the object as big or little as you want.
As for #2...There are time I accidently hit stuff when performing. One time I even accidently deleted a cell with one swipe gesture!
That's an amazing performance!
Yes i finally got to watch the vid.. Nice work @Alex fox . Nice work with triggering the tempo changes along with the different fills/patterns. It's got a nice beat tape vibe to it.
Question to all:
How can I get my screen on the iPad Air 1 to look really black in the background? I noticed some videos and their screen is really black which makes the surfaces playing stand out a lot more. Any ideas please?
Am feeling personally insulted that many of the lead sounds I choose seem to be monophonic...
I think you can change them to poly now in the wave settings
Great demo there @Alex fox, it's great seeing devs leveraging the power of the touch interface rather than slavishly recreating hardware-like controls.
Getting in the zone with krft is so easy and I find forgetting about trying to create something I've predetermined and just going with the flow proves fruitful.
Brilliant. If I were in the business of having other people's children etc etc.
Not only innovative with the initial UI, but the piano roll is my new favorite on ios. Just left a good review. +1 on the live midi control of other apps. I'd pay a good amount for that as an IAP
Something like this is on the roadmap. We're trying to work out the best way to implement it. I think a first step would be a recorder cell which would essentially do what you described but you could create multiple on your surface. We'll see..
/\ /\/\ that sounds wildly awesome. Can we get the ability to define and loop a certain part of our loops first? That seems simple-ish and really really useful.
Please look at the timeline in SunVox. It doesn't do exactly this but for laying out structure it is all kinds of awesome. Feel free to ask questions if it doesn't reveal it's awesomeness immediately.
