    I too feel equally pasted

Oh shoot! I was definitely gonna wait for Johnny's late-night pleasure factor evaluation on this one. ;)

  • Interesting. But it needs to be MIDI controllable for me to buy. Intro price €6,99... Pasted on fence as well.

  • Now if they can fix Addictive synth I'd be all set.

Over The Cliff by Hugo First....

  • Shit, this is amazing...I wanted to go early to bed tonight...

Yes. Midi control will be great. Nonetheless I have always wanted a Bode frequency shifter. Now I have one

  • Not sure what the purpose of such a thing would be unless you wanted to emulate Side 6 of "Sandinista!"

  • ....I did promise myself that for 2017 I would buy everything that was AU just to, you know, support the developers etc. Hate to break a resolution being as it's only March and all...

  • I haven't bought an app for ages, think this might be the one to break my fast. Looks nuts in the vid, a bit like the 'parameter' effect in Elasticdrums.

  • Looks great. Have added it to the effects arsenal!

  • We so need AUv3 automation in our hosts for stuff like this

  • Are the Au parameters not exposed in this yet?

Looks fun, but I'm a bit unsure if I really have use for it. I may be wrong, but could I not do similar with ApeFilter ?

Will probably end up getting it at some point as it's Virsyn lol

Don't think so, and you wouldn't have the xy pad thing anyway.

I think this app has been developed for noisy nutters like me.

And fix Poseidon synth's midi clock going crazy which makes the arp unusable.

If i see this right, it is a derivate of this here: http://www.virsyn.de/de/Products/PRISM/prism.html
They do the same with their apps. They are mostly derivates of the desktop tools with MUCH better GUI.
So the chance is big that all their other desktop synths and FX might end as "better" iOS versions as well.
I always loved the Virsyn tools on iOS. Great that this is for iPhone as well (i wished i could get Addictive Pro there too).

  • Watched the video again... not really speaking to me yet. I've got too many other apps that mangle up the weirdness in similar ways. Not exactly like this one of course, but I think I'm gonna stay perched on the fence and see what fun the usual suspects have with it, and if they're still sweet on it a few days later. ;)

Blimey, €129 - makes the iOS version look ridiculously cheap.

Sure, but mostly the plug-ins have far more options.
Not sure how it is with this one.
But yeah, the price for the app is cheap.
But still very different markets and not really comparable.
Indeed, €129 is just the spring sale price!

Come on in! The water's fine...

  • Looks clever and fun but I really can't add another sound-mangler and retain my sanity.

I'm not on the fence here, I AM the fence.

    Glug Glug Glug

Actually fun, like the XY plenty. My only concern Mister/Missus Dev ( @virsyn ) is that as an AU in AP it doesn't seem to 'remember' its automation....which is a pity. Bug or Special User Secret required? (And, yeah, I know how to automate effects generally in AP and others work fine with the piece I am/was testing on etc).

Two things... seems like there's not quite enough here for a dedicated app, and could've easily been added to their AudioEFX app.

EDIT: Correction. Deleted and reinstalled, working again as IAA in AUM/AP And secondly, my Virsyn AudioEffX app stopped working as an IAA anymore. At least not in AUM. Stopped working as an IAA in Auria Pro too. Still works as an AU though. How often does Virsyn fix apps they've already released that have stopped partially working?
