    Hellooooo?

Those Apps may very well have NO developer anymore!

And yes, their support and development is dead - but that does not mean the App is dead!
It can be used for quite a long time!

Your argument about "some developer" being responsible for such updates is zero.
We very much talk about Apps where no such developer exists anymore.
So please stop repeating this argument.

Again: The problem mainly exists for adondoned Apps without any existing or caring developer. Still, I bought those Apps and want to continue using them.

SOOOOOO thats apples fault devs abandoned us

    True.

Samplr is not updated anymore because the dev is now working for apple and he cant find any free time to update. The bloody bastards knew he got some great skills and just took him away. :(

    samplr is already 64bit though....

    Are you sure ?

yes. it does not show up in the deathlist.

In my case other than the caustic editor for the Volca sample there literally isn't
Anything I care about in 32bit. Have better apps that run in 64bit already. Will just delete em all after I upgrade.

It does not give the slowdown message on a new device. Nor does it show up in the deathlist. It's highly unlikely it won't work in ios11. Any beta users here can test the theory out ? @Shazamm perhaps ?

Samplr it's 64 bits! It's been discussed to death already in several threads, it doesn't show up on anyone's list! Stop it with the samplr doubts!

Developers can update their apps to 64 bits since 2013!

    Huh? I don't get it.
    Everything I think from a7 (mini2/air 1) on is 64 bit
It makes complete sense to run 64 bit apps on a 64 bit system...

I guess some people still buy a Nintendo Switch to play NES games...

Or a Rasberry Pi like my kid did. He even built his tiny Pi into an arcade sized game podium.
    Kids are weird.

Kids are rad. Yours sounds like it anyway.

  • Definitely some bummers on my list. Going to see how long I can make mi iPad 3 last!

  • Sunrizer is 64bit so im confused whats SunrizerXS

    iPhone version

  • lol oooooh

  • Tachyon, Polychord, Samvada, Improvox, ADelay2, and NanoStudio. (I secretly worry that Eden will sound imperceptibly different on NS2..) I worry a lot.

Sadly, no need to worry about it: it will sound different in NS2. Eden no longer exists. NS2 will not be able to load NS1 projects. The only way to keep it alive is to park an iOS device on an a pre-iOS11 OS.

  • Has anyone reached out the Samvada developer?

Whaaa?? Is there any way we can petition him to sell it off to another dev, like Kimatica? I would happily spend $50 for an updated Samplr

Me too, but the good news is he dont abonded the app completely and is working on an update with Link support. :)

  • This 32-bits apps-war that Apple is driving is pretty strange...

Today I looked in the Swedish Appstore under categories Music, and, several music-apps that Apple is recommending is 32-bit, AND, has not been updated the last three years...?
Polychord as an example (that I bought many years ago) seems to have Apples blessing...
    I'm on iPad Pro 2 12.9" with iOS 10.32...

maybe it's already updated to 64 bits?. I don't have it, but you could check in The settings.

Apps can be updated to 64 bit compatibility since 2013 (when the iPhone 5s and iPad Air came out with the A7 chip) that it's hasn't been updated since 2014 means nothing.
Sample it's 64 bits and I hasn't received any update since 2014 as well.

The upstart warning from Apple is there, right in your face...

I'm sure that many other music-apps from 2013-2014 is 32-bit still...

The thing is why Apple very often suggest apps that is old and obsolete in the category apartment in Appstore?
Sometimes they even suggest apps that hasn't been updated since 2010-2011... Hmmm...
