That would be ideal but there's no internal eq that I could see let alone eq spectrum analyser?

You can add a parametric EQ to every Pad and Bank if you like, just like any other effect.
(But it does not yet have a spectrum analyser built-in).

Great! Do you know of any good external au eq plugins that can be used ?

  • Hmm, I guess I'll have to wait until tomorrow to try the app since I'll be driving to a long gig later and won't have any time before the morning.

I mostly do things 'by ear' (ie no real need for a spectrum analyser) so the built-in is good enough for me.
Goose EQ has a spectrum analyser built-in and if you like subscription based apps it should be ok.
(I don't have every single AUv3 or Plug-In available on iOS so there might be some I have missed).

I have no doubts that @mathieugarcia will add a spectrum analyser to the built-in EQ at some point.
(This is something i requested quite early on into the beta).

Then again it's easy to export every single pad/track as audio if you prefer to mix them elsewhere :)

Awesome thanks for the heads up! So you get good pro sounding results from mixing straight in bm3

Just checked http://www.apesoft.it/apefilter/ has a built-in spectrum analyser and works perfectly as AUv3 plug-in and should cover most filtering / eq needs :)

  • Get in the Line....

  • Okay, I've listened to some bits made on this and it sounds awesome. Can anyone answer me these questions:
    1) Does it have sidechaining?
    2) Can you record a full vocal track like in Cubasis or Auria, or would you import it when already done? Same with guitar tracks?
    3) As I mainly work in Cubasis at the moment, how compatible is it? Easy to move tracks back and forth?

    1) Yes, on as many pads as you like and with any pad as the side-chain input.
    2) Yes, you can record as long as you like even if 'loop' is enabled audio will be recorded to one long file.

    3) It depends (There is no 'session coversion') but if you export the tracks from Cubasis as Audio you can easily import them to BM3 and you can also export audio from BM3 easily to Cubasis.
