I have an iPad mini that I updated to iOS 7. All the apps I tested work fine, Garageband had an issue with some keys not playing after switching back from another app. It looks like it's not registering some touch events.
NS, Bm2 seem ok. Animoog, iMini, Thor, iPolysix ok.
I've been thinking about what it is I still need in terms of recording capabilities on my iPad and I'm coming to the conclusion that iOS 7 doesn't provide much, if any of it. IAA sounds like a big deal, but seeing as most of my requirements are already met by Audiobus, it's not essential. My only concern is that upgrades of essential apps, such as DAWs, become incompatible with iOS 6 and I'll be forced to upgrade to iOS 7 or miss out on major new features. Fingers crossed that Drum Session will be iOS 6 compatible, as that's likely to fulfill a big need.
@PaulB I feel the same way at the moment, including the comment about Drum Session. :-) I haven't upgraded to iOS7 yet, and I don't see a pressing need to upgrade as of yet. IAA is a new technology that will be great when hosts and apps support it, but as of now things are premature....
