  • A bit deceptive — although free to try, there's an unlock that has to be paid for, yet the price is conveniently not mentioned at all and the existence of the IAP is simply omitted from the listed details.

Says "Top In-App Purchases Pro License3,99 €" when I view the store on desktop.

  • I see nothing like that. I'm trying to take a screenshot but the iPad just keeps erroneously turning off instead. Must be time to sell it.

    Ah, worked this time.

  • Could be useful for getting ditties going and then producing them elsewhere...mentions live MIDI out...and MIDI Export...but no mention of file transfer, so is MIDI export able to use Open In, Audioshare, dropbox etc ? or the much loved iTunes ?
I'll probably ignore this knowing that Quantum is on its way.

  • I really like this one. @AndyPlankton is right, it's a good writer. Very quick and easy. Clever design. Can export MIDI (with the 2,79 Pro purchase etc). Easy open straight into (for example) Cubasis. Can also export a wave, but not sure why you would. Reminds me of Figure. The UI is nothing like as pretty, looks basic, but it's incredibly easy to use. AND you can edit patterns in a way I wish Figure could....a nice quick cheap addition.

Hmmm if you can 'Open in' the MIDI then it will not be as easy to ignore. Cheers for the info JG :)

  • Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I'm looking at the orientation bug right now, landscape left isn't working properly.

Another quick question.....are the drum notes mappable/transposable ?

I'm going to let @BeatonalDev answer that as he won't screw you up as I'm bound to :) I do like that you can choose, say, Module to play your bassline if you want to etc.

As regards the orientation; looks good on the 12.9/

  • @BeatonalDev I would be remiss (of course) if I didn't mention I would love to see this AB compatible, although -truth is- I may not use it much that way myself....

:) thanks that would be great....what notes are they currently mapped to...I would be wanting to send them out realtime to Novation circuit which has 4 drum tracks, C3, D3, E3, and F3 (thats the octave I send from Luis Martinez apps, not sure of the actual MIDI note numbers) ....

  • Hey good find Flo. Other than that Mr Goodyear said it all really.

  • Any plan for parameters automations and multiple patterns with song mode?

  • what notes are they currently mapped to

    51,38,47,36,42,76,39,77

    Any plan for parameters automations

Not really, or at least not until a find a way to nicely fit it in the UI. I don't like recording automation and not having some sort of visual reference.

and multiple patterns with song mode?

Yes, but can't give you a timeframe yet.

Ah....a lot of the foregoing is important to the boffins (bless 'em), but this last would really make the simple song plodders (self) very happy....

What about IAA and audiobus compatibility?

AB midi would be nice, AB audio maybe not so much.

Think Figure with an additional track, midi stuff, chord, and CUSTOMIZABLE PATTERNS. Bravo @BeatonalDev! Very clever design here.

    And synth programming!

  • Any possibility in the future for different time signatures other than 4/4?

  • edited July 2017

Holy shit it replaces old notes with new ones like ikaossilator. @BeatonalDev good choice! Love it.

I guess you didn't read this from above or maybe your issue is not the same as this?

Thanks - Got this based on your note above. And I wasn't going to buy anything for a while, like maybe ever. After BM3 and Kaspar my cup runneth all over my etc. But this Is really neat-o! Really hits the writing spot exactly, where so many other ones almost did.
    Thanks for the notice @flo26
