@BeatonalDev So happy to see so much people going for your app! I had it on Android and didn't notice it on iOS until now. Already left a review on Google Play and now I'm buying the iAP on my iPad too <3
BTW, can you set long notes on custom pattern?

    Good question.

Yep, hold and drag.. or is that long press and drag..

The more other people play with it the better this gets.

By which I mean other folk have spotted things I might never have done.

  • +1 for iCloud document picker but AS import alone would suffice. Whatever's easier. Say NO to iTunes import for sure.

  • One other thing. The front end of exports is not clean. There is a gap or sometimes a fraction of a hit there. Easy enough to clean up and loop in AS but...

Lol silly me. It seems I tried it and it didn't happy. I'll blame my greasy fingers

So when i export a midi file and open it in either Auria or Cubasis it seems to be out of tune by -1 semitone

Is there some pitch bending thing in there?

--this is the perfect app for the iPhone--I'm most apt to use something like this when I'm on the go and want to knock out something quick. Any chance you could optimize the UI for phone a bit?

Thanks for the feedback, any suggestions for a better phone UI?

One thing I've noticed is you can't slide your finger around from pad to pad ala Figure as it won't pick up the touch unless you lift your finger off first and then touch again. You have to touch each pad separately.

This is the biggest thing I notice right away. Any way this can be addressed?

Never occurred to me, thanks for bringing it up!

Now, Anyone having Sync issues with it's Ableton Link?
Seems the Sync is working at half speed with Maschine....

Could you give it a try with a different app? haven't seen it happen before..

Nice little app. Reminds me of What Figure could of been. Anyway, I cannot get Link syncing properly either, same as @VerbaLee . Tried it with FunkBox, DM1, ect. The only apps that it sort of did, was with TroubleMaker. ;)

Yes, seems to have sync issues.. It synced nicely with Bloc (on the same iPad)... Will love to have it synced to Maschine... so I can just shoot my parts to Dropbox... Most other apps do a 'time-in' type of sync via Link when you press play... seems to be missing here..

But great app.. she is too pretty to be wearing that dress.. Make her elegant Mr. Beatonal... she deserves it.. (Better UI)..

So i deleted all pitch bending in the imported file and it's on tune again

    Strange

Any way to avoid this? Having to go through each track like this is not ideal. I suppose i could just transpose the tracks but that kinda rubs me the wrong way

  • Anyone work out a way to remap the drum notes from Beatonal to be the correct notes for drums in Gadget?
I tried using Midiflow, but Beatonal doesn't show up as a midi source...

UPDATED.... Link sync is tight now... works like magic...
    Thanks Mr. Beatonal...
Today is a great day for music... KRFT updated, now this..

    Beautiful app..

  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • My goodness. I completely missed this. But glad I just found it.

I’ve been saying someone should make this type of Figure / iKaisilator style midi out app for years. And finally someone has.

Seems great on first try out.

My main question, is the y axis on the keys sent out as a midi cc along with the notes when you use as midi out?

I really hope so. And if so, what cc number is it?

  • Dear developer this app NEEDS Audiobus can you please add it ...........thanks
