Although maybe just for the bass part- a very primitive arpeggiator - or rather "pattern-player" - just to play simple bass motif-patterns might be useful.
A combination of a static chord plus a moving baseline - that covers a lot of ground!
Maybe something more like the non-editable patterns that SampleTank iOS offers for each of its multitimbral instruments ?

Yeah the Bass part Arp would be great and it would save me cpu cycles by not having to use another app.
@Navichord I can’t figure out how to isolate the Bass root note. Is Voice 1 Midi out the channel that sends the Bass note out?
Today Voice 1 is a root note. It may or may not be your lowest note depending on inversion. I have requests above to sort MIDI notes before passing to Voice channels (ie make Voice1 the lowest), but it is not yet implemented.
What with threads getting closed because people are politely (for the most part) saying they don’t like an app, it is really good see see the developer of the great Navichord interacting, listening to customers, and continuing to develop one of the best things in IOS music. Slurp slurp, creep creep.

Reason I asked is because I was sending chirds to Midiband via the Pads, so in Midiband im able to select the split point where it determine chords for the left hand and melody for right hand.
I’m so excited cause now Navichord allows me to get the chord progression to play automatically while I use Navichord’s keyboard to select the rhythm variations via note changes.
But the Bass is receiving the whole chord. I noticed this while sending the midi to Cubasis and I can see in the Bass track that it is receiving a full chord.
If I only send Midibands midi output, it does send only mono notes on Bass but as soon as I play Navichord it sends the whole chord. This might be user error, or Cubasis because I remember sending to Addictive Pro Synth and it only played the Bass notes and arped them.

Question: can someone explain Ableton Link Quantum? I see variations and choices for phase, beat 1, etc. what does this all mean?
Sync quantum in Link is phrase duration to sync with. Quantum of 1 beat means your loop will start next beat after launching. Try 1 beat and 4 beats and notice the difference. In 4-beat case your loop will start not later than 4 beats, but could be earlier. It depends on where are you on the global time grid maintained by Link. That grid depends on all Link participants.
Phase means in will sync on full duration of the chord sequence (could be long).

I’m having issues with not being able to send midi out on iPhone via standalone or AB3 will try the beta and see.
Let me check. Meanwhile, can you try setting MIDI/ MIDI Learn / Velocity Source to "Internal"?

Yeah changing that setting allowed the pads to output midi.
Update; worked only in standalone mode but doesn’t work in AB3 midi slot. In the audio slots worked.

same here midi out issues from navichord. I can send keyboard out, but chords out does nothing. i’ve tried several settings, and nothing works.
just tried changing velocity source to internal.... works now. thanks
here is one to add to your request sheet. how abou am ioption to have an arpegiator on the keys section. it would be great to play chords and play arpeggiated riffs with the keys. thanks

thanks for the MIDI learning feature.
Nr 1 request (of mine ) that i really could do with soon - is 4-note major triads - where the extra note can be a root, third or fifth. When one is using a lot of 4-note chords in a progression this helps keep things consistent.
Or maybe just allow us to enter a "custom" chord manually - but have NC check that all the notes conform to the Chord type selected ?
The fix is on the way.

Seem to be having issues with latest NC today...
i seem to be having similar issues on iPad Air 2. haven't bene able to send MIDI to any of my apps today. Bit of a bummer since i just bought Moog Model 15 at £9 YAY !! - and am dying to hear it playing my progressions
