I'm getting the feeling the rules ain't set it stone yet.??
I have a project with just Alchemy and Magellan and they load up with the session in TT but I am getting some notes hanging where I stop the transport but the notes linger on and no way to reset to my knowledge without closing and opening the app.....and sometimes Alchemy says its already open and fails to load....very early days with this IAA thing...
How do you make audiofiles out of a IAA signal to use them in the host?Do you have to record it or bounce (like you do with a VST for example)?
The options in TT that I can see are Render to Wave, Audiocopy and share on soundcloud.
All audio gets bounced wherever you send it from what I've seen so far.
Audiocopy 2 works great with Audioshare, shame you can't split by stems...
Edit: you can of course audiocopy each track by soloing each track in turn..
@DaveMagoo I still use 6.1.3 so both problems show it is a bug in TT and not specifically IAA.
I sent email to TT support team and waiting for a reply. I'll post it here.
Thanks.
Edit: btw I sent another email with couple of feature requests. I forgot to mention stem export.
Maybe some of you can send email with this feature request to push it down the pipeline.
@shay thanks will send mail now....
Loving TT at the moment with IAA opening this app up, Nave and Alchemy seem to be the only apps with issues....Nlog is great once midi learn is setup to your favourite parameters in mastermind...
Looking forward to Cubasis, Auria & BM2 to see how their IAA efforts compare, looking forward to IAA effects also
yes, same here.I bought a lot of Synths,Drums and"Daw's"but only 2-3 effects so far(i'm not counting the dozen i bought in Auria ;-).That i rarely use.I just don't need them in the audiobus fx slot (my favorite synths come with quite nice fx anyway)but as IAA inside the host apps...i would buy much more
Thanks for your reply mgmg. Maybe the kinks are yet to be worked out.
Has anyone been able to control mastermind with an external midi keyboard connected via CCK and get TT to record a phrase ?
@DaveMagoo Yes, I lern to my Xstation and works.....
I have some problem with Audio glitch....I think TT have some serious audio bugs
Did the input from the Xstation record the notes into masterminds sequence window ?
No...No midi rec.....you can see this, because the sequencer button don't began green when play notes...
Ok, thanks dude......an absolute shame though non the less
I have been asking table top developers this question since MasterMind came out, but to date haven't got a response from them.
If that be the case it need to be fixed or added , this is needed
I agree with Junior Pops......seems like a glaring omission......kind of makes it pointless to use an external midi controller....or to have the midi learn thing at all.
I pray for the day when everything 'Just Works'.
I think it's a bug...
Need to fix
I"m not happy at all. I've experienced loads of crashes in Tabletop, and that was the main reason I tucked it in a folder. I've even sent them crashlogs.
It seems it crashes less in this version, but IT STILL DOES. Luckily their solution was to add AUTO SAVE...
I've bought the ZIgnal device instantly. But somehow it loses my recordings, or mutes them ( i see the waveform but I can't hear anything).
I understand the business logic behind this. They're a company and they need to survive, but man, if you charge 4 euros for something, I don't have a problem to pay them since I'm a fan of music apps, but I expect them to WORK as advertised.
Right now, TT sits where it belongs. In the Useless folder. I really try to like this app, but every time I go deep into details it bloody crashes!
This being said, I'm waiting for Beatmaker 2.5. That's everything I need. I've used it before successfully and I love it.
The way Inter App Audio is going the Audiobus team could out manoeuvre Apple with their next update.
It's hard to tell at the moment whether the bugs are in IOS 7 or not but if IAA in Auria is anything to go by then it's looking more and more like IOS 7 is where the bugs are.
Still early days though.
Sadly Auria has many issues of its own.
iOS 6.1.3 here and problems , including crashes still happen
i'm in the same boat as you alexbuga - i've installed & re-installed TT 3 or 4 times now with different updates and it's always crashed randomly on my ipad4. With this past update, sometimes when i open a previous project - notes will start playing and stuttering on synths without even touching play as well as audio pops and crackles.
I'm hoping things will improve when I finally update to ios7 (still on 6.1.3)..
Inter App Audio buggy as hell , crashes after crashes, cracking audio. Very unstable , AudioBus team we counting on you for the next version with some surprises
Does anyone knows if a app that implements audiobus should work with Mastermind? My app implements audiobus and according to audiobus documentation, it is supposed to work as a IAA app but mastermind fails to initialize it and I don't know why. Any ideas?
Maybe @Sebastian might be able to help?
Wasn't mastermind that old game where you had to guess which coloured pins someone had chosen?
Confirmed
The XOX Drum is on sale at $0,99.
