Time to knuckle down and get productive, so I need to settle on one of these buggers and get on with it. Maybe a more stright forward UI is the way to go...

'Tis the season (to make resolutions and all).

I suppose workflow is also a matter of knowing how much time you've realistically got (and not just on the planet). I seem to be 'fixing the shed' in one way or another a fair bit too, and so much as I like solving the puzzle a bit, it's got almost nothing to do with the songs in my head. The balance I suppose. If I JUST wanted to knock out the tunes I'd probably use Beathawk all the time....

I was pleased I had no crashes in iMPC Pro 1 this time, the main workflow issue with that one though (as always with this bunch) is the lack of Audioshare support - which is my audio workhorse.

I’m going to give BM3 a thorough thrashing tonight (when I’ve finished these damn accounts), and that should help me decide which way I’m headed. The ‘bundle’ price will play a part in that too - but there can only be one winner here.

  • @MonzoPro You do seem more technical than me (not difficult) when it comes to the buttons and wires and I think the investment of time (BM3) rather than money (iMPC2) probably makes sense for you from the view on some metaphorical fence. Also, I can't be certain, but the bundle price doesn't appear to be time-sensitive...

  • I just redownloaded iMPC Pro and there doesn’t seem to be any upgrade within this app. I guess I’m a little confused as to this bundle deal. Maybe it doesn’t apply to my situation
I guess wait and see what happens

Oh! Really important note (and an exclusive first note for you guys): we've created an upgrade bundle for all existing customers. You'll be able to save a few bucks if you wait for this to be released tomorrow. Basically if you already own iMPC Pro, you can "complete your bundle" and get iMPC Pro 2 for a discounted price instead of the full standalone price of $24.99.

In other words, whatever you paid for iMPC Pro 1 is subtracted out of the bundle price. If you paid $13 for iMPC Pro 1, it's only $15 more for iMPC Pro 2. If you don't own either app, you can get them both in the bundle for $28, rather than paying $38 separately.

**The most important thing is that the bundle isn't approved by Apple yet, so you'll need to wait to buy until it's live.

I actually think it’s offered “for a limited time.” Hopefully it won’t start until it’s available.

That's cool, I don't have to rush into anything then. I hate rushing.

I am pretty technical, but as I've worked as a UI designer I expect things to flow a certain way. So I find myself expecting things to be in a certain place, and assume that there are no hidden extra boxes to tick to make something work. This approach does not work well with BM3, which is it's own mad World of surprises. I guess I just need to reconfigure my expectations a bit.

  • I purchased impc pro v1 3 weeks ago and wish would have waited

  • You’d still be waiting!

    Ah right. Typical.

  • Why is that typical? Did you want the sale to last forever? :-)

I think I’m reading all of your posts in an exasperated Ann B Davis voice. EDIT: Your avatar is Ann B Davis, isn’t it??

(So I went to find a video clip of Alice from the Brady Bunch, played by Ann B Davis, and I have wandered into this weird world of dirty/overdubbed Brady Bunch videos. What the hell, world!?)

  • Unfortunately AudioCopy doesn’t work with beathawk anymore.

I think it’s something I say automatically regardless of context. Typical! Even I don’t know what I mean most of the time. I guess I’m this instance it’s ‘typical, I won’t have time to sit on the fence’

My avatar is the wonderful Dot Cotton, from Eastenders. Something of an inspiration.

Think you’re right! Guess when I opened iMPC Pro I hoped that the upgrade would be magically there :)

  • What’s the problem.?
Will hate to pay $25 for v2 and the bundle pops up five minutes after I hit buy..

JG already caved, but he's a Sugar Daddy. He did offer these words of wisdom, though.

  • Do we have to have impc pro installed to get upgrade discount?

Yeah.. but it’s a ‘marketing malfunction’ here.. these are issues that should have been ironed out before launch...

$9 +/- is no biggie.. but the ‘sucker’ effect hurts.. lol..

    For the love of music...

  • Guys how can I find out what I paid for the original impc pro?

I don't know about you, but I keep my email receipts from Apple. If you do, then search your email for impc.
