I tried downloading the bundle even though i already bought the mpc V1 hoping i would get a discount at checkout. No luck, so i returned it for a refund. However i still have the app.

Question: If i now plug into iTunes and sync up the iPad, will the mpc pro 2 be remove from my iPad?

Currently i'm using it "for free" but i'm a little confused. Any advice appreciated.

That happened to me with Scythe, not sure to be honest as ending up getting it again once the price dropped. I think the updates stop. If it’s like beta there is a 90 day rule.

  • interesting thanks

Anyone else having a problem getting the impc Pro diploma pack... it’s taking me to AppStore to AudioCopy then when In AudioCopy and I eventually manage to find the pack when I press the cloud icon it takes me back to impc pro 2 on the AppStore lol

    Now I can’t even find the pack : (

  • Same is happening here with the Diploma Pack.

  • That's a big @Retronyms knows about. They said a fix for Audiocopy will fix this.

  • Good news for those interested with an older iPad...

    What's New in Version 2.0.4
    New fixes!

    - 32-bit support is back! (iPad 2, 3, older minis)

    • Tapping a blank part of your audio track and AudioPasting now pastes into the correct space and won't crash
    • iMPCPro 2 now works inside of an InterApp Audio host. You also no longer have to start the iMPCPro 2 session first before connecting to it with your IAA host.
    • Improved Fly/Element support: Undo menu now closes from an MPC command. Bug fixed with Soloing tracks from the MPC.
    • AudioUnits list cleaned up
    • Fixed AudioUnit tracks and timeline display when recording notes, drum pads lighting up for AUs on other tracks
    • Accepts more e-mail addresses in the iMPC University registration form

As well as all of the fixes in 2.0.2 (which you might've missed :) ):

    • No longer crashes when saving and closing a session with InterApp Audio on the Audio track
    • Fixed crash when creating over 64 tracks
    • Audio tracks now properly duplicated when duplicating a sequence
    • Fixed AudioCopy sequence feature
    • Fix hang when dragging audio clip handle off of screen
    • Audio tracks now save correctly with "Save as Duplicate"
    • Mod wheel no longer cut off by one pixel
  • Do audio units work on iPad 2/3 I didn’t think they did.

    Depends on your iOS version.

  • Now iMPC Pro sync well with GB :) Thanks

  • Awesome video bro! Thanks for the idea of creating each track as a program. I haven’t done it yet but a micro video on how to do that would rock for those of us impc newbies :) :D

I’m still trying to understand the progress, track concept in impc it’s different I know but a short vid would rock bro!

    Thanks for your great work!

Aha. I was looking in the Audiocopy story rather than in the "graduation day" link.

  • Posted this on a seperate thread but thought I’d check here:

Those of you using Element with iMPC Pro 2, you’re using a powered usb hub?
(And if yes, which one would you recommend?)

I got Element today, plugged it in and got the “this device requires too much power” prompt...

You don't need a hub. Hold down the "Tap" (tempo) button while plugging in the USB cable. This will activate the IOS low-power mode.

Gold. I don't even have one these things and I appreciate the impossible-to-know-if-you-don't-know quality of the tip.

I know, right? How did he know...

  • thats Dham's job, to just know stuff.

  • :# its on the akaipro website for MPC element

  • Is it true the Spotify sampling (the big draw card for me) is a random 30 seconds?

If so it will take me less than that long to pass on this one.

How come this isn’t mentioned in bold in the App Store description?

And if it is, can you move the 30 sec window in the track to where you want to sample or do you only get the random slot?

  • Does anyone else have problems with iMPC Pro 2 failing to recall which AudioUnit instrument preset was loaded when a file is reopened? It's pretty consistent (mis)behaviour on my version....
