I do hope it's a new awesome app of some kind that is unlike anything we have available today :)
I'm not easily impressed by 'digital hardware junk' that is mostly just a shell driven by some clever dsp code...

Not feeling opz either from what I've seen. For me buttons/keys that small lose their 'physical' benefit and no better than a bigger button/keys on a glass screen. Big op1 fan but struggling to get hyped on this one so far.. Knowing TE it'll also have minimal memory and cpu etc and all complainers will just get reminded how 'limitations breed creativity' ;)

Reason on ios could potentially be interesting though. Depending on P/H's interface tweaks and function inclusions/omissions..

If it's Propellerhead Reason Mobile, that's not to early to make a big impact into iOS (after Thor and Figure)...
There's sooooo much knowledge in this company (Propellerhead), and, the boys & girls here are truly interested in music and technology, not only fast and big money...

We hold our thumbs that it is something really special that mr. Haq Attaq will show us!!

  • It could be just about 'anything' really.
BitWig Mobile, Ableton Live Mobile, Cubasis 3.0, Logic Mobile or even Korg AUv3's for iOS.

I do hope it's NOT about hardware though...

  • For Cuckoo I think this

    and this

For Jakob I have no idea..

  • edited January 2018

Jakob: Korg Gadget for apple watch.
Cuckoo: Teenage enginereen version of apple watch.

 I haven’t any lovely idea about any of that but I love teasers and hype like other drugs I usually do.

Same. That would be a major disappointment if it were about hardware.

  • A new wavetable synth in Groovebox?

Could be, if Jakob put 3 long videos together maybe that’s the tip of the iceberg or shall we call it the Grooveberg!

True. He does do a lot of hardware videos these days, so it wouldn’t be a huge surprise if he was showing off new hardware. Though it would be disappointing, at least for some of us.

    Easy there...... ;)

Just read someone mentioned this already. Disregard my comment "It's Lumafusion dudes. Video app."

I’d definitely guess at Modstep 2.

Here’s a tweet from Mr Haq...

Does the timeline hint suggest 24/1? In time for NAMM?

lol. it definitely looks like he's hinting at modstep.

*someone already mentioned it. Disregard my comment. "This is a screen shot of Lumafusion. Video app."

Cheers. Yeah, somebody else mentioned that after my post.

Could be right about the date and time stamp correlation though! :)

Ah ok thought I looked through everything. cheers

  • Well whatever it is he seems enthusiastic about it. Well he seems enthusiastic about everything he does so I'm sure it'll be fun to watch.

  • I hope whatever is revealed is as exciting as the breathless anticipation in this thread!

Oh, oh, I know ... It must be that he solved cold fusion, dark matter, string theory, the Hodge conjecture, and The Theory of Everything. He will soon emerge from 11 dimensional hyperspace to reaveal it all in one elegant equation that will be performed in Stephen Hawking’s voice on a circuit-bent Pocket Operator.

Seriously, after all this build up, how can whatever it is NOT be disappointing? We might want to lower our expectations just a smidge.

(On the other hand I swear that looks like the Large Hadron Collider in the background of one of his Instagram posts,)

    I agree.

  • Perhaps he’s discovered the Haqion particle?

My thinking was he is pointing out the length of the piece he’s working on - it’s that long, so whatever it’s about, it takes “a lot” of video to present it

  • Mate, he IS the haqion particle!

    Ha, fair point.

I went and gone looking for the cryptic!

  • just want remind this :-) tomorrow is 25th .. NAMM starts .. lets see what kind of secret will Cuckoo & Jakob reveal :-))

  • Cookoo it’s gonna show off the new Pocket Operators that’s seems to be the vibe. I love Jakob to show something new from Korg, but doubt it. My money on Modstep 2 or Propellerheads next new app. Maybe a Reason link up.
