I can't remember if I read it in a book, heard it on a podcast or maybe somewhere else, but some of the best life advice I absorbed went something like "Don't take things personally, it's a road to constant misery"
I forget this often but it's something that has served me well over the years
We have paid the full price, others get it for free!
We are all dying!
Yes to this. Selfless vs. Selfish.
That might be your nu2morro. Good luck and thanks for the entertainment.
Oh the irony !!
Ouch Monzo, I'm one of them tossers, hold on a sec that came out wrong.
and the lesson, do not be like @MonzoPro
If what gets free and I not, someone called the envy and very very sad
No you’re not.
I look forward to when someone gets what free
If you’d had the wherewithal to read my comments, you’d see I have absolutely no issue with paying for the app. I bought it on release, and though I don’t use it, I think it was great value for money.
But I do question dropping the price from £40 to nothing. It’s a kick in the teeth for those paying that price.
That’s my opinion, and I don’t deserve to have personal insults made at me for having a different opinion to you, or anyone else.
But since I’ve had to endure them, it’s your turn.
So fuck you.

You’re kidding right ?!?
selfrightousgodbotherer
Yup @MonzoPro its ok
That’s it in a nutshell, the whole thing seemed to get heated when people were castigated for holding this view !
Thx for this @MusicMan4Christ
I wonder what would happen if at future gig I told the audience - who payed admission - in advance - I was now allowing anyone in for free, mmmm, interesting.
Never had a guest list at one of your shows?
This is the only comment that makes sense to me.
And the idea that "at least Intua could make the sound packs free" — what planet are you on? Yowza.
You would be putting on Woodstock.
Whether you think intua is wrong or right, currently and ending over the weekend, the BM3 will still be free. So, can we now just let it go and let us all enjoy IOS music making.
I didn’t start all this serious about being serious comments! I’m all for enjoying what we have while we have it and I’m grateful for it! ;-)
Free drugs? That could do it.
This fire seems about 90-95% contained. We’re all good!
That’s cool man. This thread has gone down the puddles a long time ago. Water will flow.
Agreed!
I hope no one would complain about that!
I paid full price as well. I'm fine with few people getting it free. Not sure why people are so upset by this. This is no different from people getting codes from a Facebook giveaway. If the price drop was permanent then I'd have issues with it. But as it is temporary I'm ok with it....
After this never ending post we will never get a free app ever again. Développer might even be afraid of giving us sales.

You paid £40?
That’s good you’re ok with it, but some people will have made sacrifices to be able to afford to buy it for that price. As I said I’m ok with what I paid for it, it’s a great app, but I don’t think it’s a sensible marketing strategy. Time will tell I guess.
As for future purchases, what with this, Auxy etc. going free and subscriptions sneaking in, I’m going to be VERY careful what apps I spend money on in future.
Who knows, they could be free a week later.
On the contrary it’ll probably be part of a new trend.
Fill yer boots while it lasts. Let’s just hope the smaller devs can compete.
So Logic 10 should be apprx. $59.99! Woo hoo! Apple rocks!
