  • Had another play today using the internal instruments plus Spacecraft Granular and PPG Infinite. Really fun using this and just scratched the surface.

  • @kobamoto It’s due out in September according to their website.

  • Curious as to how long it took to receive your TestFlight invitation, once you signed up? It’s been 24 hours for me, and no update yet.

  • I revisited the original Gestrument last night. Still works perfectly and still a very impressive app. How are they improving on that so far?

  • @Jumpercollins some really beautiful work there mate...thanks for sharing.

    Dope!!!🔥

  • @Seangarland: I am also still waiting for my invite. 36 hours and counting... guess, they have a lot on their plate just now...

  • I got the invite in less than 12 hours the beta hasn’t been updated since had no crashes the app to me looks pretty finished all the polish is there.

@echoopera Thanks for your praise, As I said can’t wait to see how you use it think it’s right up your street.

  • Also interested to know how this improves on Gestrument V1.

  • Bit of a shame people started posting videos of a beta app. I believe the idea was for people to look for bugs rather than post videos to promote themselves which is inappropriate and not the reason for being a beta tester. They don’t have issue with SoundCloud audio and still pictures apparently.

  • Had this back from the devs not sure who been putting videos up.

First of all, thank you all SO SO much for signing up to the beta and helping us make Gestrument Pro as great as it can be!

We’re super happy to see all of your positive responses to the app and really hope it was worth the wait.

While we’re incredibly excited to see and hear what you come up with using Gestrument Pro, we need to ask that you

PLEASE DO NOT POST ANY VIDEOS OF GESTRUMENT PRO ON SOCIAL MEDIA UNTIL GIVEN FURTHER NOTICE.

Still images and music are totally fine and very welcome, but video footage of the app in action is highly sensitive at this point.

Thank you so much for your support and understanding in this matter.

For those of you who haven’t received your TestFlight codes yet, don’t worry, they’ll be in your inbox shortly!

    Hope you enjoy Gestrument Pro!

  • Seeing they are happy with still images here are a few showing the different controls and parameters.

  • You can name your own instruments for easy ID which is cool. Group Instruments together to combine sounds. All the slider functionally which is at the heart of this beast and gives control over movement sound etc is fully midi mappable by the looks of it. Going to try out some hardware controllers with it later.

Took. me about ten minutes to put this track together using Gestrument Pro midi out inside AUM to Sunrizer, Noise Medley, Synth One, Kronecker. With Spacecraft Granular as droning in background.

Really nice, particularly from the 2.10 mark.

Signed up for the beta, interested in this one.

  • Is this going to be compatible with Scale Gen?

I’m not sure I know the original Gestrument is hopefully Scaler will be updated to show it.

  • It shows up as State saving in the latest Audiobus which is good.

I managed to open a Scala from ScaleGen in Gestrument Pro without issue. Plays fine.

Put this one together this afternoon, Gestrument Pro is great for building background ambient scenes.

Do you know if it has Ableton Link?

  • Does anyone know if it has tempo sync?

No Link that I can see in the beta. It'll be a request for sure.

Not as yet, just a tempo change and quantize loops option but it does show up in the MidiLinkSync app by Coding Cod.
