It's delay after the room is thick with smoke😆
Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll look into them while I’m waiting for the iPhone support to arrive in this one.
Pretty confident it’s coming. When I asked the dev he said “of course!”
Very nice!

If you have the iVCS synth you get the spring reverb section as its own AUv3. It has parametric models, but also an impulse response of the real VCS3 spring module. Definitely better than the ToneStack one.
Now that's how you explain things! Terse, and crystal clear.

This is a common question so far. I think it might be a bug that the audio stops playback when you turn 'overdub' off. Can someone in touch with the developer pass this on? @skiphunt , maybe? I'll tag him here, too.
@ka010 : See potential bug above, please.
Yes, that would be an instabuy for me, no need to read reviews before buying 😊
Thank you for your understanding And yeah, I've been a daddy for 4.5 years now, it's awesome!
Indeed it's impossible for me to keep up with the list of things to do given the time I have, and sometimes stuff takes a lot longer than I thought. I should be more careful about promising things. AUv3 versions of my AUFX apps are still something I mean to do, believe it or not
Regarding Ableton Link in SECTOR, it's highly non-prioritized. As I said recently in some other thread, I think the right thing to do is to implement host sync (which SECTOR already supports), and that the host syncs to Link. For AUv3 plugins, this is quite obviously how it's done. And looking at the desktop, do you expect each and every plugin to implement Link, or that the host (such as Ableton Live) do it and then syncs all its hosted plugins? Of course, it's a bit different for IAA because they can be run stand-alone. But I'm seeing it this way: if you need sync, or routing audio in and out of the app, etc then put the app in a lightweight host such as Audiobus or AUM!
Thanks for the explanation. Of course I understand priorities especially when you're a one of a kind dev overloading with work and things that make living more than working alone (kids). As said understandable and good that you not only focus on working 24/7. Life is so much more
And also thanks for the solution regarding Sector. Still one of my alltime favorites apps
I thought of you as soon as I heard about this app Mister F. Want to hear what you make with it
DJ Puzzle 'sold' RE-1 to me
Just hoping we'll be able to save loops in the AUv3 some day too
(The general pasteboard works inside AUV3's so that might be a way to get stuff to/from AudioShare to the AUv3 instance. It works well in ReSlice so if we get that in RE-1 we're in for a treat unless we get the standard DocumentPicker for import).
Good morning everyone!
New beta is live, those who got in touch should have received an invite by now, if not please let me know.
Here's I managed to do so far:
Yeah, he did a great job with that one! The tapeloop to sample option is there in AU actually, the "write" menu is a bit too short tho so you have to scroll down to see it.
I tried saving a loop in the au version but it ended up as 1 channel mono with a glitch on the loop point.
This is very good - thanks mr dev. It’s the closest I have got to my old RE 501 in iOS
Happy days brethren..... forward with Jah orthodox and will be making lots of reggae sounds
What a GREAT intro to the product. Kudos to DJPuzzle.
Yeah, really dig @djpuzzle demos. Looking forward to checking this one out to see what interesting use he’s uncovered that I haven’t thought of yet.
Good to know!
Hoping Cubasis will soon get support for full-screen AUv3's
I've not yet checked but 'export' of the tape-loops using the Files.app UI could be handy.
It would make it possible to export a 'tape loop' to for example the Cubasis/Audio/User/ folder and drag it from there to the Cubasis time-line.
Also Import using the Files.app UI could come in handy and make the integration easier.
In Cubasis save a 'section/loop' to the Media Bay and 'fetch' it using the FIles.app UI straight into RE-1.
Time to explore a bit more and try to stay 'focused' as the dubby loops make one loose focus and track of time
I bought the RE-1 but haven't even tried it yet. Time and worry over heating issues. So glad to see the dev jumping right on this, as I knew he would.
All you have to do is turn the input dial on the left side on the way down while overdub engaged. Your sample will continue to loop and your source will continue to play. Same if you load in a sample that you just want to loop with or without RE-1 effects. Just load it into RE-1 and turn input level to zero. Hit overdub and your sample will play without overdubbing anything more onto the loop.
@ka010 Looks and Sounds very good! Any slim chance of iOS10 compatibility?
It’s quite a noisy plugin. In overdub mode after several minutes there is a noticeable amount of hum and hiss (try just leaving it without recording to hear it build up). Yes, it’s a tape emulation but it would be nice to have more control of this. As you can’t turn off overdub without stopping the loop I guess it’s simulating the tape being degraded from continual recording.
Already bought it. Hopefully I can do something worth listening with it 😅
Could this be used as s simple looper in the aum effect slot?
Does anyone know if state saving works with this in bm3?
This is the amount of noise that builds up on its own. No input, just overdub on. All head faders playing and mix set to 100%
Yes, next build will be iOS9+ again.
That would be due to electrical noise and mains hum which the moment are fixed at -75db I think. I could think of to options here:
1. Disable them if overdub is engadged
2. Add an option to turn them on/off
What would you guys prefer?
