Had the update from Apple but alas still missing the odd note now and then.
Have emailed about this one, just to make sure though....
When using a MIDI keyboard, and a MONO patch, hold 1 note, press a second note...all is well...release second note (with first still held) and the audio stops, no return to original note....
When using the on screen keyboard it works as expected.
This could be a reason for some missed notes if your MIDI notes are overlapping.
Yeah I’m pretty sure I was getting this when I hooked up my midi keyboard too.
Thanks for confirming Andy.
Hey @analog_matt congrats on amazing release instant buy!
Any chance on getting that black hole reverb as a separate plugin?
Just had a play via an external keyboard, enjoying the effect of playing with velocity and a sustain pedal. I am sure that the Velocity to Filter EG will enhance this even more when it comes. Although I had another incidence of the sound cutting out, and when I tried another app (Korg Module) the sound was also off. I fiddled about in Settings and it came back.
I'm looking forward to the iPhone version!!! Money in hand!!
Hey everyone, I'm Aure, founder of AudioKit, and Matt's partner in crime on the D1. Its been really great to get all this constructive feedback and its all working its way back into this app and to Synth One and to our future apps and even back into AudioKit itself, so your feedback is appreciated on many levels. To that end, I am super excited to report that I have just committed a version of the app that is much more stable with Audiobus connections and even a little bit more efficient on older iPads. I believe there is one update in the queue at the Apple and the next one will contain my latest code. So, be patient for probably another 24 hours while things progress. This is my very first post to these forums, which is ridiculous, but I am here now and look forward to following along.
Welcome and congrats.
And where are my stickers?
Awesome. I’m new here too. It’s a fantastic place for iOS music discussion.
Thanks to all the team, your work is much appreciated! 👍🏻
Day 2 and getting gorgeous results. Fantastic job AudioKit👍🏼
One thing that might be worth improving is the pcm menu selection.
Other than the obvious titles, its a bit of a guessing game. Maybe if they could be catergorized some how (pads, leads, bells etc), would be helpful to the workflow.
Welcome and thank you very much for joining us.
You guys are doing a great job, both with your apps and AudioKit.

Is there something strange about D1's Legato and Glide? They don't seem to work perfectly - sounds Staccato and the pitch doesn't slide properly between the notes for Glide.
However, some presets are awesome! Any plans for Vibrato?
Also, after switching to another preset, it takes a while for the soft keyboard to respond to taps- there is a long lag.
Please advise...
The D-1 is incredibly rich, with the best presets of any iOS app I own. So good!
Is it possible to hide the keyboard? My intuition says yes... @analog_matt
Welcome @aure.
Should D1 get some high quality drum/perc sounds? Would be a complete workstation.
Hi @aure and welcome. Thanks for the fast responses with updates and fixes to a fantastic range of synths!
I can’t get D1 to load in AUM or Cubasis. Anyone else?
All time classic workaround:
Launch D1 first and then add it to the host
That should be in the fix that is coming. Should be live later today
Welcome!
Great job on D1.
It sounds awesome. I'm getting various midi issues in performance, lost/missed notes etc. Reported it earlier in the thread so I'm sure it's on the long list.
Congrats on the releases, and thanks to all at Audio Kit.
Thanks Matt
Thanks
Thank you.
Yes, we have plans to add vibrato.
Even better, I'm going to try to add an option for Vibrato aftertouch. After things settle down.
After the next update comes out later today, you may want to try adjusting the Buffer. (In "Settings", to the upper left above the keyboard). The next update solves many issues.
Another small detail: The sounds do need to uncompress when you change presets. It may take longer on older devices. (That's how we fit 1 gigabyte of sounds into an app under 150 megs).
Ah, I've been wondering about the time lag...nice to know why it's there.
Doesn’t work for me. But next update should straighten out a lot of issues. It’s a great synth.
A request for the future, an optional delay time for each the LFOs. So that one has the option of them not kicking in right away.
Hi, the creator of the legato and glide functionality has asked for more details or a sound demo?
From the team member:
"Better yet, a short video illustrating the problem."
Thanks!
This is also desired for Vibrato for predelay
