I’ve been quite a good boy (might have something to do with me owning most apps already).

So far I’ve just gone for:

    • Quanta (some amazing presets and a steal at £2)
    • Phosphor 2 (very few presets, but sounds interesting and can’t complain for £2)
    • Mood - £6 (am loving this so far - amazing presets, iPhone, randomiser - my new favourite thing)

So I’m £10 down (Although I did buy Kaldron the other day. Oh and Stage Light... of course).

Right now toying with the idea of stretching to Kronecker (£6) and maybe Discord (£2). Oh and that new AU midi keyboard (£6 until Monday).

Mmm - I guess it starts to add up...

Yeah, even at bargain prices it adds up.
I added Phosphor 2 as well. I really have enjoyed discovering this synth. Next up is Turnado!

But, I (like many others I’m sure) would recommend Kronecker. It’s a wonderful synth. So much personality and so many sound options.

More free quanta presets here - I like these better than the ones that come with

And @Matt_Fletcher_2000 - I literally picked up Discord about 30 mins ago and it's really great - so glad I got it!

    Hi Michael,

I really appreciate that you like our sounds and apps so much! It is really a
pleasure to see that people like what we are working on so hard.

In the last couple years we always had a sale on Black Friday, sometimes even
running it for several weeks. But it is true, this year we are not
participating unfortunately. But there will certainly be a sale for our apps in the future.

Alas. I did suggest he make a kemanche app.... The Mark Eliyahu kemanche, like the Josh Bell violin. Guess I will just bite the bullet for iCathedral and Heavy Brass. But those iSymph Inapps can just wither on the vine!

  • Thanks to all these nice sale I’m now out of iTunes money but happy 😃

Now I have all these new apps to learn how to use. 😱😱

So many app so little time 🕰

    Bought only these:

    • Rozeta
    • RouteMIDI

Too many apps - too many distractions - too little outcome

EDIT: Purchased and returned Midiflow and got a refund.

I'm basically a Roland (JD-Xi), Steinberg (Cubasis, Nanologue) and KVRAudio (SynthMaster One/Player) guy and so, don't need a lot of apps. If anything, there is Poison-202, Digital D1, Noise, Sunrizer, Medly, iSEM, Zeeon, SpaceCraft, Gadget, FLSM, Primer, Kauldron, bs-16i, GeoShred, GeoSynth, Animoog, SwarPlug, ThumbJam, BeBot, Guitarism, iFretless, Sensual Sax...

Thanks. Yes I also bought Kronecker last night. I really like it. It’s nice to have something a bit different. I’ve been sampling it in to Vancouver in Gadget. I’ve kind of figured out how to separate it’s sound into two layers so I can have two layers in Vancouver and mix/modulate between them if I want.

Because I only really produce music inside Gadget my goal with buying these new synths is to sample them into Vancouver.

Doesn't seem like they are on sale (go to 2:45 seconds and see the pack prices - they look the same):

I think some of the iap's are very good, Doug have demo's of some of them on YouTube.

The Hybrid Acoustic and the cinematica sound pack are very good:

  • Roli packs have afaik never been in sale... pity. Always played with the idea to get a block. Never convinced myself though ;)

This is confusing. I just saw some IAP's are like $9.99 inside the app but on the AppStore all of them are either $3.99 or $6.99 and none of them are $9.99 (maybe the $9.99 packs are not listed on the AppStore). My iPad battery just discharged and cannot confirm much.

Quanta did it show up as target for the download, so I suppose that unzip and then sharing to Quanta is required.
    Or is there another way?

Stick the zip file anywhere in your files app. Then you can import the zip into Quanta and it adds it as a bank in your user presets. No need to do the sounds individually.

I double checked the list of Apps and if it may be disabled in the list.
Also, I tried both "Share" and "Open in Another App"

I then copied it to AudioShare first and retried, but the behavior was the same :o

Try importing from within Quanta. I added a screenshot above.

    Ahhhhh :) :) :)

Many thanks, i never came to that idea, as most Apps just show up as target in the share sheet.

    Got it!

You’re welcome! I had the same issue with D1 until Brice pointed out that handy import button. :)

New York Underground House Beats [Sample Library]
    Cyber Monday Sale 30% OFF.
    Until 26th November.

  • @MrFromage mentioned this in the Primer thread, but I don't think it's come up here yet: Syntorial is half price (the cheapest it's ever been) through Monday 26th. As usual, you need to buy it through the website rather than the IAP to get the deal; this gives you both the desktop version (and the free add-on lesson packs - including Massive, which is half price in the NI sale) and a code for the iOS version.

  • I haven’t got Phasemaker, or Phosphor 2 - both on sale at the mo. Do I need them? Considering I’ve already got nearly every synth in the world...

  • @MusicMan4Christ said:
Regular price is $14.99 but you can bring it down by doing some extras. I needed up getting it for only $4.99 after so it’s totally worth it!

@MusicMan4Christ, if possible do you mind sharing how?

Yes you need both of those :-D
