Apparently one of the designers for elektron said they trademark a lot of ideas when they have one but it doesn't mean anything will come just because they registered. A few of those seem like they didn't know the final direction of the model sample.
But i really hope and am still holding hope out for a third Digi mainly a key synth of some sort.
I'm really interested in hearing the Behriger Pro-1 vs Repro 1 comparisons sure to be forthcoming.
Personally, just like with Moog Model D, there's emulations that are virtually identical, to the point where I'd just feel silly buying a replica, as opposed to something that's either completely different, or at least intentionally a little different (one of the reasons I went with an SE-02 instead of a "Boog").
