Koala is no longer showing up as an AUV3 in AUM, as an instrument or effect after this update. I own the AUV3 IAP and have tried reinstalling and restoring it but still doesn’t show up. Anyone else having this problem?
I’m using an iPad Mini 6, iOS 15.4.1 (latest).
Edit: It worked again after fully shutting down and restarting the iPad. Leaving this here in case anyone else has the same issue.
Check the about website under settings. There’s a clue there
Stumped here too ???
I was pretty sure I found the hidden feature, but it turns out it was one of the “enhancements” because I certainly didn’t have to hold anything down.
Found the actual hidden feature and all I can say is, “Nice.”
I found something I had to hold down that I didn’t know was there, now I’m more confused by this statement.
Settings, Extras, About. Scroll down to the egg/bunny. Then what? I'm too dumb for puzzles...
Seriously I’ve been poking around and holding everything I can think of and I can’t find anything that hasn’t already been included in version history notes past
I'll give a clue, 10 seconds on OK...
THANK YOU. That was not obvious at all, never would have held anything down that long
Lol. Thank you. That was cool and quite exciting!
Cheers @Samu
Very cool. How on earth did you guys find that in the first place?
A ha! Now I can remix my friends’ songs when they avoid sending me stems
It says I unlocked an experimental feature ubder the "TOOLS" menu... but none of the menus are labeled "tools". Where is the new feature?
It’s the tools menu in the sample editor, where crop and bounce etc live.
That’s an awesome little feature, I’m looking for to it being developed more.
my koala standalone all of a sudden becomes silent until i restart the app.
i think it's the "things get too loud" overload thing?
anybody else can confirm?
@elf_audio
Are there multiple features? I got strum in the keyboard. I'm not seeing any new tools in sample edit, but maybe I'm missing something.
Same happened to me, it appeared to be a previous Easter egg of some sort. Turned out I didn’t have the latest version. Once I updated I got the new Easter egg. (Had to do the OK again)
Cripes it’s ********. 😳
[edited to not spoil the surprise]
Saw someone post their screen on Facebook and they had their pads renamed. Did I miss this somewhere. How do I rename my pads?
Wow, this Easter Egg is LUDICROUS. I just tried it on 20 seconds from a live recording of a gig from a rather well known new band and the results were outstanding.
How do you get strum in the keyboard?
No this new feature adds names to the pads
It'll make sense once you discover the new feature.
Dope 🌱🌱🌱🌱
How do I get keyboard strum? I’m pretty sure I have the most recent Easter egg. Does this mean I’ve lost the chance to access an older one?
It flashed up a message about strum being added but the keyboard didn’t appear to change at all. It might just have been referring to the note repeat from the last version.
Test of new tool.
lol. I just did what @samu said and held down the ok button for 10 seconds.
