That was terrific, but I really wanted you to unmute Track 6! What’s in there?

Yepp! Would be even better with separate start & end settings per playhead
Terrific update! I won’t be using 10+ instances of this, but the ease of connectivity and state saving is the main advantage for me.
@Samu to the rescue Cheers was having a blonde moment! Got it going in NS2 also.
Alexander, mentioned earlier in the thread that the AU is fixed to MIDI channel one at the moment. But he intends to remedy that fairly quickly.
@Alexandernaut very very nice update. Thank you!! You have made a lot of people happy. This is a getting a great reaction on FB as well.
I hope you see a bump in sales of FM for your efforts. You will certainly see app usage jump!
This is literally the best surprise auv3 / iPhone update since I've been an iOS musician.
I've always wanted FM to be an auv3 to use on my iPad and to have more control over the play heads and this freaking solved all that instantly.. and now on my iPhone, are you kidding me!!!! didn't expect it to happen...and now, outta know where it lands!!
So many instances of FM will abused now 🙏
sorted,thanks
I didn't even give a f**k that it said 9.99$ haha I was like, totally worth it, but then it didn't charge me.. But seriously, this fkn thing is worth every penny and I woulda had zero problems donating to the cause again
We are starting an honor club committed to buying the next app from Mister A sight unseen (I know, hardly a great leap into the void
)....
The best iOS app just got better! Awesome! Thanx!
Hear hear. I wish he’d called this version 2 and charged for it. These poor bloody devs. Our heroes. 👏🏻
You’re the man @Alexandernaut.
My favorite app, awesome 🙏🏼
Instantly bought. I’d sat on this thinking it was a relic from a different workflow era, but iPhone and AUv3 sealed it. What good news to wake up to.
Nice! Almost feels like cheating doesn’t it?😂 Could literally load up any of Apples Drummers, convert to midi regions, a few of the top synths per track, que up Rozeta or Fugue, sit on your ass and let them generate billboard quality hip hop/trap beats. What a time to be alive.
Haha hey I got five on it 😄
It's deff version 2 worthy!
But I know for sure the complaints woulda rolled in deep 🤣 effem
It’s apps like this that makes iOS music so magical.. When you run out of ideas, record 2-3 playheads to GR-16 (Auv3 multi-out will be great).. Conditional Triggers.... nice..
Maybe Conditional Triggers/Probability IAP?
Today I actually read the Manual to Fugue Machine as I was wondering how the change the velocity for notes...
Turned out that the piano-roll in Fugue Machine had some pretty nice gestures to move, duplicate and change velocity of the selected notes and the 'alt' button was a quick way to select notes by tapping on them.
(Previously I used the 'lasso' for that DOH!)
@Alexandernaut If I could add a few feature-requests they would be to be able to 'transpose' the Fugue Machine output based on the incoming midi-note and also to be able to automate the transpose slider that is present in the UI.
My Number One request is to be able to have alternate start & end positions for each of the playheads!
Time to head over the the AppStore and add some stars
Perhaps squeezing in "End" presents some hurdles UI-wise. In that case, I'd be happy to just have it as an exposed AU parameter for outside control.
And if that doesn't work, then I'm hoping we can get the top bar loop region (start and end) as AU parameters, in which case you can just use multiple instances to get your separate start & end positions for playheads :-) Not quite the same, but almost (unless you change the notes a lot during playing).
Congrats @Alexandernaut on the release of this update! So awesome! Here's my first play with it:
+1 and ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars! 👍
Thanks a lot for the great update @Alexandernaut ! 🙏

If any of you geezers remember the amazing, but under-loved Attack Drum Machine by Waldorf... You can set it up so that all 20 something voices react to different notes on the same channel. Setting a pattern in FM, then having each head up x semi-tones from the previous will allow generation of patterns that are related across ALL those drum voices that you can then mix away at to get some really cool shit. Takes a while to set it up, but I think it's a pretty cool hack to build pretty mind-blowingly complex rhythm parts that are not just random but maintain a sense of unity.
You CAN set start position for each head.
Yeah, bit I was thinking about the 'note range' on the piano roll...
Play Head 1 steps 1-8, Playhead 2 steps 9-16, Playhead 3 could do 32-40 and so on...
Not for EACH playhead, right? But you can adjust the range for all the playheads. Or is there some magic that I would not be surprised to learn I am unaware of?
@ExAsperis99 Here there be magic
@Samu Now, that would be awesome!
Ah, of course. But once it hits the end it goes back to the beginning; I, too, would love the loop braces that @samu is dreaming of.
i triple those loop braces. i've actually been wanting that for ages but i was too lazy to make the feature request.
