Nice one thanks
Instabuy for me ... what a bargain price ... works smoothly and sounds excellent so far.
Of course. But I think he’s just asking about how surgical it is, not the sound. Even so, considering the dev and the fact that they’re both supposed to be clean mastering grade EQs, I’d bet money that there’s no significant difference. I wouldn’t say that if they were character EQs.
Unless a digital EQ has some distorting characteristics, they all null and sound exactly the same with the same settings, and most that dont even have the same settings can get very close too, once you add in dynamics and so on it gets a bit more individual, but you can bet that this is as surgical as any other surgical EQ.
Except for synths. I’m ready for some Serum AUv3
I'd choose this eq over the Eventide stuff. After the initital "Wow it's Eventide on iOS" novelty wore off I'm not really using them.
I'm going to pick this EQ up. I had an early version of TB Barricade on PC (haven't brought it over to iMac yet), and it was very good. I'll keep my eye out for it to show up on iOS and grab it too.
I loved using them initially but reloading my BM3 sessions to find the parameters did not reload properly kind of put the flame out on my efforts. Really hoping they update them soon as tap and pitchy really fit my current thing.
This being a Pultec EQ as well is really cool and, from what I can gather, differentiates it from FabFilter ProQ 3. Nice catch.
That sucks. They seem to reload fine in AUM.
@_mwallace seems to be seeing problems in AUM.
Just updated to work on iPhone.
Nice!
@White Maybe you wouldn't mind updating the thread title as a lot of people were asking if it was universal? Thx
Wow that was quick. Looks like they’re getting my money now
For some reason I had to buy this. Wonderful colors. Buttons are pretty darn small, but it doesn't really matter cause I don't have a clue what most do. Any recommendations for videos that might explain this stuff? I got the 4pockets eq, too! And the Cubasis eqs,of course.
An abondanza of eqs!
Done 😊
Saying purchase again for iPhone.. pretty sure it’s univ.. but will like confirmation... here
It's not showing in my purchases on iPhone.
Same here, I clicked buy and it said it was free because I’ve already purchased it, so it’s all good 😊
Ah cool, I admit I don't really need an EQ on my phone but in case of emergency!
Thanks
Here’s a link to the manual pages for this EQ (four pages). It has a lot more features than most EQs so it’s a worthwhile read.
Same.
Abon Danza .... i liked him in “Son of Cheers”
Thanks @InfoCheck , will do,
@RockySmalls, it seems Tony married a Turk, so Abon is very, very big here.😜
Hey, @LinearLineman , I feel your pain. I’ve spent a couple hours studying the non-iOS manual, with a copy of the Dead Sea Scrolls at my side for easier reading, but I’m still baffled by various things. This really needs its own guide with a few labeled screen grabs. And while it’s not Toneboosters’ job to hold hands some discussion of the functions would be sooo helpful (especially dynamics, Pultec, AMU).
That said, the sound is lovely and the options run very deep. Don’t hesitate to buy it.
P.S. There’s a whole lot of discussion about the desktop version on KVR. I’m about to settle in with it. There’s a list of recent updates here:

Thanks for the empathy @Newstech. I realized the manual I read was for desktop. One feature not replicated on iOS is the labeling of icons (no hamburger, toaster, whatever on iOS version). I think it is beautiful and sounds great, but at least icon labels, please. But it is stimulating me to learn more as my stuff suffers from my ignorance.
OT: How long will it be before I see TB and don't think of Turtle Beach. GUS? Do you know?
(@Samu will get this). To Tracker of NOT to tracker.
Anyway. There are a lot of great "graphically" controlled EQ's:
Pro Q2 - $30 pass for the Q3
Pro Q3 - $30 (or $18 with a bundle of 6 more apps)
Blue Mangoo's "Parametric Equalizer" $6
4 Pockets "Visual EQ" $5
ToneBoosters "TB Equalizer" $6
I'm sure I missed a couple.
