Thank you, in the meanwhile I gave 5 stars to the app. You’re doing a really nice job.
I want to give it 5/5 but I can’t because I’m using the beta version of ipadOS. I will do when I can, though. Same with DigiStix - both exceptional.
You’re correct just checked.
@ElliottGarage fantastic work on this app. Get some well deserved rest sir and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Thanks for all that you are doing and a huge thanks for the gift you have given us all 🙏🏼👊🏼™️
@ElliottGarage Great work - Enjoying the app a lot Thanks
Have run across an issue in Cubasis on 12.9” pad, not sure if anyone has highlighted. The settings / save modals often (50% of time) show without the close / save / back icons at the top. Requires a reboot of Cubasis to get back into app without modal in the way.
Thanks for the impending updates!
Edit - here are screen grabs, yeah I just can’t save 75% of the time and lose everything on reboot of the app
I would normally use it in a host, and the host would take care of the sync. Audiobus is terrific for receiving midi clock and syncing plugins and to Link.
Well, maybe we can get some song (Patterns Banks) for this beast.. Seem with
Come on Apple...
Really wish a host would take advantage of AUv3 multi in/out audio channels. I’d love to route each pad to separate external AU FX chains.
Hi mate. Thanks for the app. If possible ( but if it isnt good then dont ) Add a 1-16 counter to indicate what song section you are on. Synced across auv3 multi channel and even on the different pages but I think mainly the pad page. Possibly in the blue circle button for bling and maybe either green, yellow or red. I guess you could make a track, then copy, save and load in another auv3 and delete whole channels, then work with probabilities etc but if you begin with a 1-16 chain across auv3 ( or not ) You would know when to stop drumming and you could even switch to the next auv3. You could then adjust any mistakes and add probability etc.
See what I mean ( unless theres a standard procedure ) This app can record across 16 x 16 but you cant be counting loops even if you moniter the sequencer. You can see the number in the blue circle or maybe its not good because too many mistakes would build up but it isnt a looper and it can be edited.
@ElliottGarage Would be good to be able to access the manual from within the AUv3
Also, I was surprised that I could add new nites in the red drum grid by increasing the Probability for empty slots.
Also noticed that new probability values do not always appear right away when entered in this way, though the numerical value appears at the top of the window.
I think you would start on a kick and a snare. You would only have to save and copy the kick and the snare, then delete either the kick or the snare but with midi input you might be able to map across channels but I think you need a counter on the main page, unless Its easy to record across song mode and know where you are.
Hi. Sorry to go on. Just being stupid. Idea isnt valid. Its all about making beats.
@ElliottGarage finally had a good sit down time with this wonderful app. Here’s a little screen recording of how i plan on using and reusing this app on a daily basis. Thanks again for making such a great app 👊🏼™️🙏🏼💕
@echoopera Great little Jam, shows what can be done as a sampler and drum machine thanks.
Thanks...yeah, this app is a missing piece for me in my workflow. Really jazzed about where @ElliottGarage is going to take us over the next several months with this stellar app. 👊🏼™️
Does AUM do this? This is exactly what I’m after!
Ah ok, that’s nudged me a bit closer to the edge of the fence. I can see that sort of setup working for me, though I doubt I’d get that many instances on an Air2. Nice.
Auv3 has multi in/out audio channels? Awesome! I didn't know that. Definitely agree with you if that is the case. I would imagine its also up to the app to enable this and a perfect feature for drum machines.
!! I have no words. How are you so fast at making dreams come true? THANK YOU!!
@ElliottGarage Swing has no effect when the AU is synced to the host.
Also, I might be alone in this... but I feel like delete should ignore the grid settings? If I record a roll and want to fix it, i have to change the snap setting just to erase the notes, but I’m pretty much always going to want to erase whatever notes I drag my finger across? Maybe that’s just me.
Many thanks for your response, I will try & suss that out - I only use the iPad for drum machines, synths & effects mixed within AUM with clock sync running into the iPad from my outboard gear.
@craftycurate unfortunately I cannot show manual in AU3 due to some limitation of the AudioUnit extension design (a plugin cannot open that kind of view that I use to show a PDF....I need to search if there's a workaround)
@echoopera that's great! I will repost it
can an AUv3 show a link for the manual which opens in safari?
I was actually looking for the manual on your website. A pdf would be great for me.
@tiantong I need to update the website...I litterally haven't time to sleep these days. Then you'll find it in the support page. Keep you posted
@craftycurate @Carnbot and @tiantong the manual will be in the AU3 too, added
Held off on this, kids needed feeding
But gonna be beans on toast tonight
Will be purchasing in the next 20 minutes
Looks good
Feed back sounds great
Support is fast, and understanding what you great musicians actually need
thanks @Nicebutfun !
@ElliottGarage Any chance you could add support for the Presonus Atom pad controller in the future?
