@craftycurate @Carnbot and @tiantong the manual will be in the AU3 too, added :)

Great thanks! Just clocked that the manual appears inside the AUv3 rather than being launched in an external PDF reader.

    This is awesome!

  • @ElliottGarage go get some sleep. You deserve it.
And leave the iPhone outside the room!

Also, I might be alone in this... but I feel like delete should ignore the grid settings? If I record a roll and want to fix it, i have to change the snap setting just to erase the notes, but I’m pretty much always going to want to erase whatever notes I drag my finger across? Maybe that’s just me.

In case you missed this.. this may be a solution.. only if you want to clear ALL notes from a pad instantly.

Just discovered this.. If you’re in Grid mode and wish to erase all notes of a certain drum e.g. closed hi hat, just hold down the delete button on the left and touch the name of the instrument which will now be flashing in green.. voila.. all notes for that pad are gone.. I know.. not an undo BUT pretty quick to clear a few pads. Much faster than poking at each note.. It’s on Page 2 in the manual.

  • This app is dope, but again the no stop button on command toggle is bugging the hell out of me lol
And the pattern length is super short only like a couple bars max??

  • @ruggedsmooth I'm thinking about adding a 'stop' button between the buttons write and play :)
A pattern is 1 bar. Then you have 16 groove to choose and to enqueue (and fills too)

  • Does the ableton link have start/stop?

    Yep..

I guess Apple don’t review on Sundays..

Personally, I think one of the most important introduction to Auv3 is about to hit us.. THE SAMPLER..

  • the sampler. is that a different app, or are you talking about the update to this app?> @RajahP said:

it’s handy and I use it a lot, but my example was to clear just a fill which can be recorded out of the grid. Agree with @ruggedsmooth on the pattern length. I feel pretty limited with only having 16 steps. Song mode is a bit of a clunky work around. Does anyone else hear that swing does not work in the AU when synced to host?

  • Another little thing When I’m recording in notes they play louder after being recorded. I guess default setting is full velocity. Don’t see anywhere to change this

  • Just saying... the multi-instances are begging for snapshots.. Set patterns and lock them in, recall with morphing to next snapshot all that good stuff (Remote)..

My workaround with Octachron and likely for this is using AUM program changes for AUM presets.

Will love to see it in operation...

But Liine had it down back in the day..

You have to go to mixer and auto and select Read. Then they’re play based on the velocity you originally recorded.

Am I right in saying the latest iteration of the app has been submitted to the Apple? I’m itching - so badly! - to have a go of the new sampling capabilities ala ReSlice.

  • @ElliottGarage Not sure if you’re aware but swing does not work when synced to host at the moment.

Yep, I have been swiping to refresh the App Store so much.. Hope it shows up soon.. can’t wait to slice up some loops..

  • @DCJ yes, because clock is mastered by the host. However I'm thinking about a workaround and maybe I can address it together with polyrhythms (almost finished)

@RajahP and @audio_DT Apple is really slow in this days...I suppose they hava an high load of review due to the new ios13
