haha, I didn't do those. Those are just a few of the 50 pre-programmed paterns in the app. I thought that would serve well enough to give an idea for what can be accomplished with the app.
Sweet! Well as long as the app stays on sale through Friday (my pay day), looks like i'll be picking it up. Thanks again for providing those samples.
I think the preset options are pretty varied. Ranges from 808/909 stuff to almost acoustic sounding (though obviously synthesis). Enough to be able to use the app if you has no idea how to sound design (which I mostly don't).
I would like it if I could find/buy more content for it, though. Perhaps that will come through Synthpatcher, Sunsine, etc.

No problem. I personally am mostly just experimenting with the automation and the delay effects, creating bizarre soundscapes until I get sick of it... So it was definitely worth the purchase..
Some quick kidding with a few Stroke Machine kit variations:
I sent the little demo video to Wolfram Franke and he noticed the wild flickering of the CPU meter. After setting the audio buffer size to 1024 -it was set to 256 by default - The Stroke Machine behaviour on my IPad 4 improved a lot.

Finally finished my first recording with this app. I submitted this review to App Store:
Fairly deep synthesis engine, but also support loading samples. The sequencer easily lets you select any time signature you want. For example, I made a pattern in 7/4 and another one in 9/8. I was initially confused by the pattern vs. kit thing (they’re one and the same) but got over it quickly enough. The FX section is also nice, with 4 different effects busses, each with its own chain of up to three effects (dynamics, modulation, and delay/reverb).
The area-sensitive drum pads are a nice addition with the latest updates. Great for entering drum parts in realtime, with direct control over velocity (lower part of pad is louder, upper part is softer).
The little keyboard that appears when you switch from the percussion section to the melodic section is surprisingly usable despite the small, square-like appearance of the keys. They are surprisingly area-sensitive as well, just like the drum pads.
Editing notes in the step sequencer view is a teensy bit fiddly, but is overall easy to use. You can tweak velocity, gate, and other values fairly painlessly.
Areas of improvement:
1. If you want to change the tempo, it can be difficult to dial in a precise number because small finger movements causes the number to change fast. Also it is possible to cover up the tempo button with your finger, making it hard to see the number.
You can only export audio from this app. It would be nice to be able to export your patterns as MIDI. Then later on you can change sounds as you see fit without having to recreate the whole pattern. Fortunately, it seems to support Audiobus and will at least show up as an input there - so you could conceivably export your audio via Audiobus to whatever app you want in the recording slot.
You can only export audio to iTunes File Sharing. It would be nice to export the audio to Audioshare, direct to Soundcloud, and/or Dropbox.
And here's my recording:
Cubasis midi sync is broke on this app
