I'm really digging the sounds I'm getting out of it- I've only been using it for about a week - but the industrialness of it is awesome.
I just wish it wouldn't crash when I bombard it with midi notes. also would be cool to be able to interpolate between two different additive osc presets

There is no zoom-in into the additive-osc window, is it? Anyway - so good: like Phosphor inside of Continua!

really, really good synth, but i wish they would just put a little more work into the additive osc part.
a better editing interface and like i said it would be really great to be able to interpolate between two different presets.
Love to see caring updates like this, will pick this up sooner than later just to support.
It is a good update, it's generous that it's free, but it has some flaws tbh. Which is kind of a theme with Audio Damage. They don't pay enough attention to the nitty gritty imo.

The Genetics panel is fab, it’s just a bit limited as to how usable it would be in a live performance. It’s something I’d love to see added to every synth, I’d just hope for a more seamless switching between sounds.
It is very impressive, wish it was possible to expand it to full screen though…difficult to read!
Picked it up and yeah this was a steal at the price . Wife’s digging it too, said it’s like ID700 and Aparillo had a baby (although she said it a bit more colorfully 😂)
Not scrollable when hosted? I’m in Logic Pro for iPad and can’t see a way of scrolling down when I’ve got logic’s keyboard up. Obviously I could be missing something obvious!

Its’s a great concept but it’s crying out for an Amount slider rather than a fixed 10% randomisation amount. UA Battalion does this really nicely.
I get aparillo vibes too, which is weird as it's not FM - but I was making that association as well. Very metallic industrial electricity sounds. That sperm fellas presets are awesome.
Sperm fellas? I guessing that's one of the wildest Apple keyboard autocorrects ever 😂. God, I do hate Apple for changing that, I've never gotten used to having to double check everything.
The IXA oscillator is very FM-y, so that's probably where the hint of Aparillo comes from.

I actually had to look up IXA …that’s pretty obscure , which actually is pretty cool imho to have something a bit out of the ordinary
Can people check something so I know whether it affects everyone or just me before I report it as a bug?
When hosted as AU I’m finding that selecting a preset from the new v1.2 folder results in brief sounds when played followed by silence. Selecting any additional presets from that folder after that results in silence. Doesn’t seem to affect presets from other folders?
I’ve tried in Audio Evolution and Drambo and it’s the same in both.
Also, side issue, is anyone else finding that it’s a bit of a nightmare trying to get to the Close button on the presets screen?
Terribly designed preset browser, yes, Close button is so far from everything else, please do join me in emailing them to complain about that
Also, the Close button is unreachable in the default (traditional) AUv3 window in AUM. You need to switch to the large view in order to tap it.
Those presets work normally for me, using AUM and its internal keyboard (iPad Air 6 2024 M2 11", iPadOS 26.3.1, AUM 1.4.7).
Interface does not adjust to host (AUM, AEMS). Have to go full-screen in AUM. No scrolling or resizing. Sounds great though.

So many good presets in this- I see Quanta often mentioned to be along the same vein as Continua. Any opinions on that? Wonder if Quanta is in for a big update/release as well.
Quanta 2 is an excellent granular, probably my favorite of that type. Being a granular it is nothing like Continua. It comes with many good presets, including a long list by Proem. I prefer his presets in Continua, in Q2 they are mostly more experimental, but some are really good. For ambient stuff I like the Organico pack of presets, I believe it is included as factory content.
... would love to see the Genetics mutation ported to Quanta 2, as well. It would be a good fit there.
Thanks for testing and confirming @uncledave, really appreciate it. I wondered whether they would work in AUM? I get the impression some developers test AU functionality in AUM and nothing else unfortunately.
Edit: I’ve just realised that those presets do work on my iPad 9th Gen (iPadOS 26+) whereas I was using an 11th Gen (iPadOS 18+) before when they weren’t working. Must be Model/OS version specific?
Interestingly, when full-screening the plug-in on my iPad 9th Gen running iPadOS 26+, it resizes significantly better than when i was using an 11th Gen running iPadOS 18+.
And I’ve just noticed those presets work on the 9th Gen too. Must be something to do with the particular model/iPadOS version?
After trying one of the new presets (v1.2 folder), all I get is silence in Loopy Pro even when clicking on other presets (older, newer, all the same). I tried restarting the app then restarting the iPad. Still silence. Standalone works.
Your problem sounds similar to this post by @Robin2 . It's working for me using a recent iPad and iPadOS 26.3.1. Maybe you could investigate device/OS status to see if there's a correlation.
