In case anyone else runs into the problem that I had were deleting SynthMaster One and reinstalling it resulted in not being able to launch the AU at all, I was able to get things working again thanks to an iMazing backup that had been done prior to the delete and reinstall.
The process is to opening iMazing and open a backup from when the app was working. Copy the 'Synthmaster One' from iMazings list of the Apps to your hard drive. Then in iMazing view the device and choose Copy to Device. This will go through a long process and eventually reboot.
@kv331audio_bulent : I think this indicates that in some cases, a copy of SynthMaster One upgraded via the App Store has some data the app needs not to crash that is missing if SynthMaster One is installed from scratch on the same device.
It still crashes (in any host) when switching from full-screen to half-screen or non-full to full. But at least it loads for me now.
Thanks, I will test this on my devices.
SynthMaster One could use an Orchestral Strings IAP this would really take it to another level for me.
Since we don't support sample playback in SM1, I don't know if that could be possible. Maybe we could do synthesized strings
BTW, I was debugging SM1 inside GB, and noticed that at startup the engine allocates 250-300 MB for all waveforms. I'll try to change the algorithm so waveform loading takes place when necessary, not all at startup. That should save us around 250-300 MB
and once I can achieve that, SM1 will work on even devices with 1GB RAM. Fingers crossed guys!
Nice it gets better and better 👍
Thanks
I'm testing my fix, and the session that was not opening inside GB is now opening. Saved about 250-300 MB RAM+Disk space, which should be pretty significant for older devices.
My fix for unnecessary RAM allocation might have fixed this bug as well. Expecting a new testflight build this weekend.
Issue fixed & tested! I can make a new release on TestFlight tonite for my recent fixes (1.3.6)
Now moving on to iPad 12.9 UI issues. My new iPads (9.7 inch and 11 inch) are arriving tomorrow, I'll add the UI(s) for iPad 11 inch as well. I might release those UI fixes in 1.3.7
You're gonna love 11". It's the best aspect ratio Apple has made so far (even though I feel it should have been 11.5" as a median between 10" and 12.9"). I guess every app should be optimized for 11". It may be an indication of future devices - who knows, Apple might one fine day transform all their iPads to this new aspect ratio requiring devs to update their apps again for the zillionth time! Other device manufacturers have this aspect ratio too.
Here the weird behavior (if I’m not mistaken again 🤦♂️):
Modulating Chorus Feedback with CC01 has almost no effect, while turning it manually has:

I absolutely love this mega Synth!
Thanks for all your hard work!
Hi guys,
v1.3.6 is on TestFlight. For those of you who haven't tried SynthMaster One yet, here's the TestFlight registration link:

There are critical bug fixes in this release:
Fixing #1 alone might have fixed many crashes that occur for the AUv3 extension on systems with less RAM.
Gave it a quick five minute test and it feels 100% gold! Will set up a more grueling obstacle course tonight.
It feels rock solid! I think the peset scrolling bug got back in again😳. Will check iPad but on phone scrolling goes too fast and have to wait till it stops.
Thanks @kv331audio_bulent
The BM3 fraternity will surely shower you with kisses for fix #3 (once Audiogus is finished)
@kv331audio_bulent : in the beta, I am no longer getting the crashes on re-sizing the window in AUM and AB3 and interface is drawn correctly in BeatMaker 3.
One slight glitch, in half-height mode, there doesn't seem to be a way to get to the settings panel. As the About and Settings buttons don't seem to be available when the height is a single pane. Not major, but I thought I'd mention it.
Thanks for the fixes!
So glad to see that some show stopper issues are gone! Now I'm going to add in-app-rating, and then release v1.3.6
After I release 1.3.6, I will work on the following:
and that'll be 1.3.7, which will be our last major update. After that one, we will continue updates with bug fixes, but concentrate on SynthMaster 3 desktop and SynthMaster 2 iOS developments.
Thanks for sharing the roadmap with us...very much appreciated
Please add: The last key on the keyboard doesn't work/sound on iPhone 6s
In playback mode of MIDI, can you animate the keys as recorded (like the Cubasis keyboard)?
Also, can you show the tapped keys a bit more depressed deeper with more graying? Currently, the tapped key is barely visible as it doesn't get depressed/shaded enough (see Cubasis, etc). Animating keys in playback mode will be clearly visible only if they are depressed enough to create some shading compared to adjacent keys that are not tapped.
These will be useful to show in videos.
I was referring to a way to reset their values to default once we fiddle with them. For instance, setting a knob value back to zero is strugglesome - which could be accomplished by double tapping on them.
I'll see what I can do about that.
it scales great on iPhoneSE now. great stuff
Cool! It also requires much less RAM now, so it should be more stable + should work on older devices now.
Just sent it to Apple. Should be released tomorrow.
Worked on some BM3 sessions from the past few months this morning (on the beta) and all is well. I especially love seeing the modulation dots on the dials now.
@kv331audio_bulent I found out that aftertouch in MPE mode not only modulate chorus feedback of set to but also other fx parameters. Is it by design?
Could you possible send me a preset that can demonstrate this issue?
@kv331audio_bulent ,
I haven’t found a way to export a preset on an iPhone. But I test in a blank preset with chorus on. When I turn fb knob manually it makes a lot of difference, when I assign it to be modulated with aftertouch it shows that modulation is taking place but sound stays the same. I made a video few days ago:
