  • They do change a lot but It’s still good to let people know when they do.

Fair enough, just a suggestion, they change almost on a daily basis though, so it'll keep you busy.

  • Lol. I hear ya @MonzoPro you do have a point, but not everyone checks those discount sites, so yea. No worries. I’m curious why 4 pockets does this so often with most of their apps...?

  • So that they appear in the discounted lists in the discount sites, of course! Marketing....So yeah, I think Monzo has a point. Plus, the discounts tend to be very small, in the region of 10-20 percent. It’s true that the apps would end up getting mentioned hundreds of times a year in this thread if someone posted every time there was a discount.

I think he has a point and yet would still like to thank @Lil_Stu07 for sharing.

  • Indeed, good call

Yes sir. Came out on Friday, it has been discussed in another thread Audiokit “Special App Drop”

    Really great app for free.

Yea that’s pretty much what I thought. But do you think that sends a negative message about the “value” of the app? I’m just Thinking out loud. I wonder if the price change marketing has Had more benefits, then any negative perceptions the price fluctuation might create?

From a potential customers perspective, it means I would never buy one of their apps on release, or full price, because you can guarantee it’ll be cheaper three days later.

  • Hammond B-3X by IK Multimedia

    https://apps.apple.com/dk/app/id1484367101

    Down from $129.99 to $79.99

  • @White, the B3x was supposed to go from $99 to $129 in May, I believe. Instead it went down to 79.99.
This is an impressive instrument and deserves the tariff. Us iOSers should get used to it for quality goods, but when you can get something like Ravenscroft275 for under $20 on sale it is a kind of cognitively dissonant. You just can’t help feeling that way.

  • For mac or pc, my friend just told me about this and I tried it just now- sounds awesome.

    http://www.shatteredglassaudio.com/product/106

They have a free "tube preamp" that I have yet to install but I will. The paid plugins look pretty cool too.

  • Yup, there they are again...

  • I know. Lol. Right on cue.

    Android only

G-Stomper Producer is 100% FREE until Sunday!
    Normal Price: 12.99$, Now: 0.00$

    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.planeth.gstomperproducer

@BiancaNeve i have been wishing for this on iOS for years. Seems the dev is Anti Apple maybe. This would do so well on iOS

It's goes on sale as free every now and then, so I've always assumed that the developer can't shift many units on Android at that price. It's weird that someone would do Android only considering it's really got no footprint as an audio platform.

  • KORG APPS ON SALE 50% OFF

  • Sweetness that probably means IAP’s too. Good catch

  • edited June 2020

Question. Is there anything that compares to imono/poly or arp odyssei on IOS atm? Really looking at those two but the lack of AUv3 is really the only thing holding me from pulling the trigger. Been waiting for this sale tbh. Lol.

I tried to install this but got the error msg [“Code Red Free” cant be opened because it is from an unidentified developer. Your security preferences allow installation of only apps from the App Store and identified developers..] Just curious how your friend got around this, assuming it popped up for them. I’m running MacOS 10.14.15

Go to System prefs app and click Security and do this right after you get that message and near the bottom you should see an option to allow the app and the developers name might be there so you can confirm. Then go back and try to install again.

Is there anywhere that has a list of the gadgets you get in gadget without iaps?

Tried looking on the korg site but that particular page crashes both my iOS browsers 😀

    Edit

    Reboot made it work:

    https://www.korg.com/uk/products/synthesizers/korg_gadget/gadget_collection.php

Everything down to Recife, which is first in the list of iaps as I understand it...

I don’t know if you’ve solved this yet, but I’d like to add :)

I have found that right clicking any installer that is “from an unidentified source” and then selecting to open it from the context menu (instead of double clicking) that the pop up window will now have a button allowing you to install anyhow. I think using the keyboard shortcut command+o will do the same.

Beat me to it - yes, the right click trick is the easiest. Works with any app - not just installers.

Hold option while you right click on the installer, then click on open. it will allow you to choose yes. You can do that for any app that gives you that warning without changing your security preferences.
