PanMan by Soundtoys is on sale for $29 on their site, where ever you have reward points or buy your desktop plugins.

If you need more movement in your tracks/sounds you NEED PanMan.

OT! You guys are killing me with this desktop marketing. $29 plugins? Oh no. The DAW costs
$200 to run it costs and the hardware? OT!

  • @WillieNegus regardless of where you posted I’m glad you did: PanMan is on a Quick 2-day sale and exactly what I’ve been needing in Logic so thanks man.

  • Personally, I prefer this panner on the desktop which is $29 as well https://www.waves.com/plugins/brauer-motion

  • I kind of agree with McD here. Very easy to make a separate thread for non-iOS sales. It really is off-topic.

  • We’ve had this discussion before. This was not the original sales thread. It is a COVID-19 imposter.

I recommend one sales thread for iOS. One for desktop.

Start fresh and nuke the rest.

  • Won’t happen again :'(

Yes! One for iOS - preferably mentioning whether an app is AUv3 or not, and one for desktop, definitely.

Poor McD has a bad enough case of app addiction as it is, any more desktop posts here might just push him over the edge into financial ruin. Next thing you know, we'll be watching him in one of Soft White Underbelly's youtube videos reporting on life in Skid Row 😅

I started listening to some desktop guys here and before you know it I had a Valhalla Reverb costing $49. Good? Sure. But that pulls me back into Logic Pro X and could let me use the iPad as a sound module or get into passing stems back and forth. Many do just that... but
the temptation to grad the new hot plug-in is always there in your face.

I was much happier to learn about OverLoud when they cam over to IOS. Now I'm seeing threads about Neural DSP... I hope they show up soon.

  • I appreciate the tips on desktop sales. What other forum should I be watching to see these?

Thanks for the writing shed tip, Poppa!

Can you import audio files into your document???

If so, this would be perfect for me — and probably others!

Haven’t dug into it yet. I’ll see if I can find out...

Just start a thread here and label it as "OT" Off-topic... then I can't complain because it was clearly labeled. It's off-topic because AudioBus does NOT run on the desktop OS'es. There are many OT labeled threats about a variety of topics.

But when this thread lights up I'm eager to see if there's something new
"On Sale" for IOS. I've even dug in to research a new app only to discover
I can't run it on IOS.

  • VADrumSM is 50% off and I think I might go for it.

  • That's a good sale! Already have it, though...
I got overexcited for a moment thinking it was Group The Loop...which almost never goes on sale

Now that would have been an amazing deal.

Maybe v2 hopefully is coming . Keep in mind it adds latency on new recordings so it’s impossible to use it , also it crashes when zooming . Contacted support and told me it’s no longer supported for further development.

  • Yes horribly bugged
    IMHO
    asked for refund

    Hence the huge price reduction...

Oops, bought it by mistake. Looked like it might be useful. Oh well, only 99p!

It never really has been. I bought it on release, and reported a few issues. They said they wouldn’t be making any changes, couldn’t give a date for bug fixes, so I should ask for a refund.

They were very polite about it, but I haven’t bought one of their apps since.

I’d refund , even if they release a v2 bundle , the bundle price would be based on the original price . I also bought it for a buck ,but preferred to keep it and leave 1 star review :D

  • looperverse does have its issues(crashes) but ive done quite a lot with it. With its editing, timestretch and micro pitch shift of audio, you can build up lots of takes and layers, which i then export to zenbeats or cubasis. All this for £1.
As opposed to group the loop, with its 4 take limit per group and no editing(as far as i can remember because i hardly ever use it).
