Shockwave makes great sounds, but you can’t really use anything else with it as the CPU use is through the roof.

Not my experience. (IPad gen 6)

It might be worth deleting and reinstalling it. When I first downloaded it shortly after release, the cpu usage was so high as to be unusable on my iPad 2018. I deleted it. Recently, following an update, I thought I’d try again - and now it works, and sounds brilliant. Still a heavy hitter, peaking at about 25% cpu on some patches, but definitely now useable alongside lower cpu hogs.

  • All SynthMaster One IAPs are 50% off!

  • @Svetlovska. Nifty. Itks a bit of a one trick pony, unless I’m missing something, but Fotoda is pretty cool. Especially free.

I might suggest the desktop versions as they are down to $4 each and can be loaded in iOS too IIRC.

Awesome so glad this came out.

  • Yea i mean, Fotoda is a bit of a one trick pony but it does it well. Very easy to creat stunning stuff. It all depends on the pics you select and then once you select those pics, continue to tap the screen 1 time to get a new rendition of those selected pics, until you get something you like, then save. 3-4 pics seems to be sweet spot. Turn off sections, and play with the blur. I have saved a ton of great ones I just shared a few, so everyone could get an idea. @Svetlovska @jolico @LinearLineman

thanks. Unfortunately there is no chance to check which I already purchased. Every pack has a price and there is no differences between purchased and not purchased packs

  • What’s the quality of the IAPs for Synth One. I am looking at :
Future bass and Nat life progressive and deep.
anything that I cant already get from Zeeon and NS2 ?

It takes some forethought as to what might work well or just wing it. I’ve gotten some stunning results. Thanks for posting @Poppadocrock

Volt and KB-1 have been on my Radar for quite some time. I got Shockwave as soon as the sale started and I love it. but I’m definitely thinking about Volt.

How do you like KB-1? and how have you been using it?

KB-1 is a gem imo caus it meets all my needs! my workflow was just macos/only ableton (: after I got some ios mpe synths+roli, mpe controlling+ableton integration turned into a nightmare! :# i ve also tried some other mpe controllers on ios but KB-1 is my fav with its easy+clear templates/workflow. ive used it in many different setups and deff excellent job so far

I decided to get it and I’m very happy I got it! I’m definitely a little bummed I can’t record midi from it directly into BM3 but using it with Atom in AUM is so nice, especially with the scale keyboard since I’m not that great with knowing scales on an actual keyboard. I played around with the drum pads a little bit and I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the pads seem a little bit laggy if I’m hitting the pads fast. But yeah overall I love it. I’m interested in playing around with some of the other keyboards. And figuring out MPE too!

Ya that is frustrating. Best way to tell is to load the VST or iOS app and see what you have installed. Their web site doesn't know what you have bought.

Also, hopefully this is obvious, but the expansions for Synthmaster One are not compatible with Synthmaster v2.9 or vice versa. The website was kind of confusing about this in the past. The reason is they only recently (1 year ago) started releasing Synthmaster One expansions, but they have been releasing Synthmaster v2.9 expansions for years. So at first I was confused about which Synthmaster the v2.9 expansions were for because they generically call Synthmaster v2.9 "Synthmaster", and Synthmaster One has nothing to do with that.

Most people have Synthmaster One, and it seems like it is the older product (but it is newer? I still can't tell), so it was confusing to me that v2.9 had a bunch of expansions and One did not.

Regardless, One and v2.9 are both great synths. I have them both (VST for both, and iOS for One) and have been happy with the expansions I purchased for both as well. V2.9 is more capable than One, but since One works on iOS, I use it more. If you like Synthmaster (One or v2.9), you'll like pretty much any of the expansions, though there are some redundancies between the expansions, so listen to the demo tracks to tell.

  • Darn it, I just went to buy 3 Nembrini apps and the sale ended between when I watched some videos to decide which ones and the time I got back to the store. I hate that... 😢

  • They seem to come on sale fairly regularly @oddSTAR set an alert for next time.

That sucks, they’ll probably have one in 3-4 weeks for Black Friday cyber Monday. It’s an app sale festival that long weekend, so you might not have to wait long. did you grab the new free Nembrini overdrive?

  • Black Friday is just a couple weeks away.

    You'll be just fine, @oddSTAR!

  • Yeah, really looking forward to the AC30 emulation.

im not very familiar with ios daws but as I remember -read on the forum- you should add KB-1 as midi effect into your daw, not as an instrument. this worked for KB-1+cubasis, so could maybe work for bm3 too

Launchpad - 4 IAP are currently free:

    Dub > Christmas Dub
    Grime > Christmas Grime
and 2 more, but I mixed up and don't know which ones, you should check by genres, probably: House > Cinematic Techno & House > Found Sound Journey
