    Down from $3.99 to $0.99

That’s a very handy app if you have a roli device. I don’t use my light pad block enough right now, I need to get back to it.

Yep saw this yesterday. Will be upgrading my lite to standard this weekend while it lasts. The lpd8 also comes with a $50 off coupon that stacks. 🤩

It amazes me that there isn’t an actual Stylophone iOS app that supports any kind of connectivity.
I can create something v close using KQ Unotone but having the original graphics and using it with an Apple Pen (or any stylus for that matter) would be a lot of fun.

  • Can Serato sample be used in standalone mode? I don’t have a desktop daw and only want it for the key detection/time stretch and autosampling. I would then send sample to iPad for everything else.

Still waiting for them to finish processing my order. I sent an email, and their auto response was that they are having really high volume so they won't be able to get back me for a few days probably..... So once they send my serial number I'll let you know. But I'm sure somebody on here probably has it.

It is a plug-in only. You can use it in GarageBand on Mac (which is free). There are some free AU plugin hosts, too. Reaper which is a multi-OS DAW can be used to host it. It has 30 or60 days of free use. And can can continue to be used after that period...but you should pay up (it is only $60 for personal use) if you use it beyond that point.

Note that Serato doesn’t export samples. You will need to use your host to render your slices.

serato sample is such a great sample manipulator. no other samplers can get close to the time stretch algorithms in serato. it doesn’t have a lot of features, but what it does, it does it very well! i really wish it would come to ios

Oh yes, there's another: Serato Studio.

ha! it is a wonderful thing

  • @Lil_Stu07 @espiegel123 thank you. I found cakewalk and a few other free daw’s that host vst’s, I just didn’t want to learn a new daw. I have a PC unfortunately so can’t use GarageBand which I know my way around. Was hoping I could use Serato for it’s best features and then use iOS for the song construction. Doesn’t look like I can do that.

just chop up, stretch, or whatever you want to do to the clip/loop and then export it/mixdown.

  • UVI currently has 30% off everything this weekend.
Does anyone know if they go any higher than this maybe 50% nearer Xmas or in the New Year?
Really want to buy Drone fx but I’ll hold off if I think the price will drop even more.

Shade is one of my favourite desktop plugins.

  • I don’t think they normally go higher than 30 percent off discount. If you have other products from bundles it will apply discounts and some products like Falcon include a $100 voucher for soundwares though.

I’m really looking at Falcon right now. But part of me says most of the stuff it does, I can do it all in Ableton or the new Logic update.
Might scoop the Drum Designer and Shade!!
Getting analysis paralysis over here, every Black Friday, haha.

Can also get sEGments for the free Ableton Live 10 lite.. and.. may find that it’s key detection better than Serato... Personally don’t this Serato’s key detection is that great..

Serato’s time and pitch adjustments beat anything I’ve heard on iOS (it seems that Beatmaker’s is the best on iOS). While I can’t compare Serato to sEGments, I have been pretty impressed with its beat and key detection.

Deleted my post because, it’s EG Pulse that has the free Ableton Live Lite.. not sEGment..

But, I do get better key detection from sEGment than Serato..
