Jeez!
I wish Overloud TH-U had as many sales as Nembrini!
Yes I hope at least this BF Overloud make a good sale.
Overloud has tons of sales on the desktop side, so I imagine we'll get iOS discounts eventually.
Perhaps they need to recoup their development costs before launching sales to boost profit margins.
I for one will be patient.
Me too
Not Music but a coding app that some might appreciate. Code App - usually $4.99 is FREE
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/code-app/id1512938504
Not sure if this has been mentioned don’t think so since it’s a fairly new app. Audio Feedback Trainer - It’s Free but will be $.99
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/audio-feedback-trainer/id1538864563
I have been so waiting for this!
DigiKeys is $2 off down to $6.99

I almost bought it the other day, been curious about it long. So glad I couldn't make up my mind.
Getting the Geoshred Play version for free, also appears to give you a discounted option for the Pro upgrade, for those who might be interested in that.
I noticed that, but do you think it’s worth waiting to see whether the IAPs are reduced, or is that something that never happens?
What you need to watch out for are their offers for the totally free versions which include the unlocked IAPs. I got lucky and downloaded a few, but the rest, as you say still need to be paid for to unlock the iAPs. It may be helpful if those posting news about such offers could first verify whether or not they include the unlocked IAPs if possible, although it’s not always clear.
So far the totally free versions tend to be in the Jazz genre, such as Jazz 2 and 3, and the latest Jazz Fusion and Soul Jazz Funk. If memory serves me, those all came unlocked and are well worth waiting for (aside from the UI issues which have already been discussed at length - but if you enjoy working this way, they sound amazing).
I thought the new SessionBand apps were free to download, IAP to unlock all styles. You don't pay twice, sure of it. Except they now seem to be going back on that idea as updates are now saying the app is now pay upfront, all content included. Maybe too many people happy with the 3 or so free styles and not paying for the rest. I can see swapping the payment model could cause confusion
Either way why SessionBand can't have a single core app that does for everything is beyond me, not that I use it much but it's fun to practice chord progressions with.
THIS.
Make one convenient app with IAPs for style libraries.
Even picking up one style at a time for say a $1. In the super casual price bracket, I'd think they'd do well there.
BPM Tap the Tempo Counter - IOS universal and Watch is FREE - usually $.99

Not iOS, but Equator 2 dropped on Thursday at a 30%-off intro price (including on upgrades). If anyone was smart enough to follow up @cazel's tip to pick up ROLI Studio on the 70%-off sale last week, they can now upgrade off it and get a £200 synth for £80. Doug did a big demo yesterday of the non-MPE sounds while we wait for the @Gavinski festivities.
It's pretty incredible. Haven't tried it with iPad controllers, but it sounds absolutely sensational with my Artiphon & ROLI kit. Backwards-compatible with original Equator and all your NOISE soundpacks (automatically transferred), but three times the sound source slots and tons of new sampled instruments, wavetables, and new modulation options and fx I've barely scratched. I haven't even finished going through the factory presets (there are 500 new MPE ones alone, and they've done an FXpansion in also catering to the non-MPE crowd, who get 800 of the buggers).
While we eagerly await the AR-909 fix, here’s a decent desktop 909 VST for free with any purchase: https://www.pluginboutique.com/articles/1665
I’m not really interested in reviewing desktop stuff at the moment - more than enough to contend with on iOS and I like the touch interface so much more than mouse. But I’m sure it is great. I have Equator 1 but I just almost never touch my laptop. Great sounding synth for sure, I’d love it if Roli finally did an ipad version. It always annoyed the heck out of me that they marketed the seaboards so heavily towards the iOS market, but never gave us anything more powerful than Noise on iOS - never mind no iOS version of Dashboard. Roli are in my bad books, big time.
So i assume from your comment btw that Equator 2 is not a free upgrade for Equator 1 users? I would definitely pass in that case, as I use the original so rarely as it is.
Yet another new desktop synth with MPE support and much more, announced to be released in a week:
https://vital.audio/
Only $20, I decided to give it a shot. Will try it soon.
for MPE users - camelot pro desktop version is also amazing! audio modeling also offers a full working free version with some limitations -10 plugins/no import-export -
as an Ableton user - before Live 11 with MPE news - camelot pro was a lifeguard (: and I still use it caus they offer a great midi mapping support + hardware manager with smart maps + best mpe sound configuration Ive experienced on macos.
and macos ios compatibility is def a bonus too
to be honest, I don't much like recommending softwares/plugins caus everyone has a different workflow/need but if u dont own or plan to buy Ableton 11, camelot could be a great MPE/advanced midi mapping solution

Thnx, what about the iOS version of Camelot Pro though? New version just came out, is it lacking some of these features? @cazel
Please, report when you do.
