I would say months, definitely sub-six, probably-maybe-hopefully sub-three. Beta within several weeks.

Hi, Im new to this thread but Ive been using Loopy casually for years. One thing Ive always wanted in a looper is to not have to mess with it live at all. I just want to play my instruments and have the looper automate the loops for me. ZenAud.io does this well but its not for iPad (and its also just become open source abandonWare). So... my question is (having not read all of the feature discussions on Loopy Pro) will Loopy Pro have automation? That is, can i set up all of my loop actions in advance and then just hit start and play my instruments rather than having to mess with the screen as well? Please check out ZenAud.io if you dont know what I'm talking about. Its revolutionary.
Also, is there a list of Loopy Pro's new features somewhere?

Yes, absolutely - but not at v1.0. Full automation will be coming soon after initial release. It’s close, but I’ve decided to focus on other things for the launch.

This is the most exciting feature so far this opens up so many possibilities with my set up. I potentially can do so much more with my small midi pedalboard

I’ve enjoyed the recent progress with MIDI centered apps. Both LK and Atom2 represent leaps forward on iOS for music makers. My money is on Loopy Pro for the commensurate leap forward in audio looping and clips. No pressure!

Given the heavy MIDI extensibility already in Loopy currently, you could accomplish this with a midi control track sending midi msgs to Loopy from another app (I ain’t saying it’d be pretty, but it is totally doable).

You're right, they did. I own it but never use it because I dont like the visual aesthetic of a laptop. iOS feels more musical to me. Laptops feel like work. Its too bad they didnt prioritize that over windoze.
