And the buttons are not square like on the real Juno and properly scaled plug-in UI...
On my 2019 iPad it’s slightly squeezed horizontally (as in the screenshot my previous post). It’s the same standalone or in AUM, Zenbeats and NS2. I prefer having a slightly squeezed full screen to the previous format.
I’m not having any problems with most of the controls nor the preset menu. Some controls could use numeric input but it’s not a dealbreaker for me. Sliding my finger through the preset menu is very smooth although tapping works better since the update.
The dev has been responsive and if you have any issues contact him directly and let him know. As a previous poster said, he’s new to the platform.
Looks like user presets are not saving properly. Made one in standalone and when I reopen it is not correct. Dev has been notified about this and the scaling issue.
Just got it. Wonderful sounding synth, for sure. I typically trigger synths with Midi Guitar 2 and TAL-UNO seems to be one of the most consistently reliable for that. Agree with others that the preset menu could be a little more user friendly.
My only complaint about this app is that the preset menu is very frustrating when trying to browse many patches. The next/prev patch buttons are too small, and the menu-based patch selection is finicky and inconsistent, especially with nested menus, sometimes disappearing and requiring a long-press and sometimes staying on the screen after a short tap.
The new stretched UI does bother me as well, but this is not an issue in AUM.
Agree about the preset menu, my only significant gripe. Shouldn’t have to do long presses and all that jazz
yeah, these little niggles aside, I'm just so chuffed that TAL has arrived on the platform.
once they sort the menu and the scaling (would certainly be nice if the interface were vectorized), I hope they bring the rest of their plugs. Bassline and DAC would be awesome, as would TAL Sampler.
I hope that microtuning gets added to the Auv3 as well. Works well on standalone.
Sounds so good that everything else is forgiven
Why has virtually no CPU impact instead my model 15 literally f#@# my cpu?
+1 I’ve been using the desktop version, which is extremely cheap for what it does for years, I’ve been wanting a Juno emulation for IPad for years and couldn’t give them my money for it fast enough. The closest thing to a Juno was Epic Synth if anyone remembers and we lost that when all the 32 bit apps got IOS’d out lol. I made some nice presets with that one, here’s a couple pics for anyone who never heard of it...
I’m also getting issues with saving presets that were not there before the update.
I've yet to TAL-U-NO-LX myself / can it achieve the classic 'Hoover' a la Human Recource's 'Dominator'? I believe from the Alpha Juno synth so not sure if / how much 'TAL-U..' has in common.
I guess the scaling is better on an iPad Pro. But who cares? I don't. I am very pleased to have a TAL synth on this platform.
Edit: I see that when hiding the keyboard the graphic gets stretched even more. Well I agree it doesn't look nice, but I don't care. The important thing is the sound, and access to all parameters.
Not much, it's based on Juno 60. Alpha Juno was much later.
I thought the hoover was based on the “what the?” patch on the alpha juno? i have an alpha juno 2 on permanent loan from a friend, I don’t use it much but that patch is there.
Ah okay auxmux - and yes mrufino1 that's exactly right: the 'What The..' patch.
Synthwave/Vaporwave using TAL and KQ Dixie. Bass, arp and drums sequenced by Drambo. Lead played in AUM.
Got an email from dev saying they’re working on it and will update soon.
App has been updated. The first time I saved a preset I had to navigate to my User presets folder. After that it went right there.
I have to say that I'm pretty impressed by the old free TAL-NoiseMaker that I just re-downloaded

Hope to see more TAL apps for iOS!
Does anyone know if this is an intro sale price?
Also, is that big empty space used for anything? Seems like a good place to display presets.
This synth is truly amazing! Loving it with FAC Alteza init preset! Wow what a mega sound!
I love it so much!❤️❤️❤️❤️
This + Blackhole also = pure joy.
@winconway Utmost thanks for this.

Wow thanks for the presets!
Are the FMR factory presets the same as in the synth?
