How do you shorten the steps like in Effectrix?

Number of steps is fixed to 16. I do miss that about Effectrix.

    Oh, that’s too bad. Thanks

I think you are meant to be able to adjust that and other things as well- like Ableton link. I’m sure when I first got it I was playing several presets with only 8 beats. Look here in the manual- it’s just that you can’t seem to reach it via the settings menu- any ideas anyone?

That is different than what Brother Gus refers to which is being able to effect this...

It is still an option to change the length of the pattern- I think?
Anyway can yourself or any one show me how to access the pages I showed above? - I cant seem to access them via settings icon 🤔

I think that is just the length of the recorded audio for the looper they added on the standalone iOS version. I only use the AU as an effect which acts just like the VST, so no audio looper.

I do not have a stand-alone version showing up? Do you?
Are you able to access the pages I showed above in relation to recording/bar length? Can you please tell me how to access them if you can 🙂

What happens when you just tap the Looperator icon on the iOS desktop?

Maybe you have the standalone audio interface bug? There's a fix coming soon for that.

It opens, and the bar options show- but it seems to make no difference. It won’t show up in Audiobus or AUM as a stand-alone inter app. The bar options won’t appear in the . You must be able to shorten it- I’m sure I have seen it looping on the first 8.

  • There's no IAA in Sugar Bytes apps anymore. AU or standalone only.

I have only ever seen it loop the first 8 steps when I have 8 steps looping on my DAW timeline.

I just assume the bar options settings in the standalone only apply to the length of the recorded input (hence the presence of 'manual' as an option there) and has nothing to do with setting the length of the step fx loop timeline.

  • Ah right - that must be it. I was confusing standalone and IAA - I thought they were the same thing 😃 So it’s standalone as in you can plug something into it via your iOS input and use it just like an..... er ...... standalone effect. I think you must be right enough.
Whilst we are here I just want to say to anyone who thinks that they don’t need this if they have Effectrix... you need to look again at it, they are very different. I hardly touch Effectrix - but I am all over this one.
    Cheers! 🤗

  • Oh I do love it. It can get spacier and warpier than Effectrix. Offers a different flavor with the nice familiar concept.

  • Yeah, it has multi-input/output audio interface support in standalone mode which is pretty useful. Just a few bugs on release made this feature not work yet.
    Great app though yes :)

As a plugin, audio input is always external (live).

In standalone mode, the audio input mode can be selected in settings.

Purchased after the long-awaited BF sale materialized—saved 2 smackers! Anyway...
I’m not able to select Internal Player in standalone. I tap the option but it stays on Live input. Anyone else experience this?

    This?

  • How do you remove /delete/rename a user preset? I’ve been trying in the AU and standalone. I’m not using the remote list.

    Looks like Files>iCloud

  • When I go to the Files app there is nothing from Looperator in ‘icloud drive’ and in ‘on my iPad’ there is a ‘saved chunk’ for Looperator but no means that I can see to access the names of any saved items. Is that what you were meaning?

Do you have ‘’User Preset” in settings on?

    Edit..

  • Thanks very much - got it now. I didn’t have it turned on in settings on the iPad or the app. I was on my old Air2 where I had been desperately trying to conserve memory, so I switched off a lot of the iCloud sync.
    Cheers 😀
