I believe this is just a matter of enable family sharing which was disabled and now it is enabled for all IAP's. Let me know if it works now.
Thanks. No that don’t work yet. I’ve installed LK from AppStore/account/purchases/family/my name on my wife’s iPad, then a tap on restore purchases in LK don’t restore anything.
Try again in a couple of hours. This changes take time to propaget through servers. I've never used this feature therefore my experience is very limited.
That works now, many thanks that was fast!!
Yes this would be helpful. @sinosoidal is this hidden somewhere or something that can be done?
Not possible yet. Sorry!
That's going to be fun... pull in some big General Midi file and raid it for parts.
It's going to be like a MIDI Sampler.
I'm having good luck pulling in Piano Motifs MIDI Melodies and Accompaniments and
creating orchestras in AUM.
I'm sure I could use LK more effectively by loading up more tracks and using
it as it was designed to generate longer song forms... turning tracks on an off to generate a larger performance than my 32 bar rendering.
It's also good to know I can go in and easily fix "bad notes" with the piano roll
hidden under neath the main page.
Ah this takes me back to my FL Studio days!
It did have a pretty good interface.
@white - what do you use for these gifs? Would save making a YouTube video
I use this free app without the iap:

Thanks!

Super cool, thanks!!
Nice, was looking for this earlier.
I'd like some help to achieve a workflow. I have LK Matrix in AUM controlling GTL (IAA Looper). It all works well, but...
I have one LK clip with all CCs etc controlling GTL, Midimix scenes and digistix patterns. I want to see the piano roll as a timeline for my song, so I want that view at the start, but want to Start AUM, then manually launch the LK clip a few bars later. If it launches at the same time as AUM, I won't be ready for when my first GTL loop starts recording.
I find to do this I have to close out of the piano roll, hit the stop button on the master track, reopen the piano roll and hit start in AUM. This is quite fiddly as I have a few windows open and everything is small, and I have to be careful not to hit track view divider bar when I'm going to hit the play button (the one above the piano roll, is that the one I should be using?).
Is there a way I can have the piano roll visible, but LK knows not to start the clip until I do it manually?
thanks.
ps, this must be one of the only apps that has a traditional 'save' and 'save as...' option.... I like that and miss it in other apps
Noticed Drift after 30 or so bars.. Is it me or is anyone else noticing?
That is a good suggestion indeed!
I'm not sure if I have understood it completely.
Can't you select the clip without fireing it (shift + touch clip) and press on the "i" button on the bottom bar to open the composer?
Can others confirm this is a problem?
You probably need to provide steps to reproduce. I just tested on latest beta to add simply 4 notes, select them and duplicate to get 40 bars and the latest notes are still nicely on grid. Is it happening when recording from external source? Then it's gets much more complicated to find out if it's issue with LK or host or the source of MIDI, but I can give a try to test that too.
Yes I can confirm that issue here with AUM and 7 Plus/14.4.
OK I can confirm too, steps to reproduce (in my case):
1. load LK in Drambo
2. inside Drambo sequencer, hit some notes (they're quantized by default)
3. setup recording in LK and play
4. keep recording for e.g 40 bars
Interesting thing is, even the first notes are a bit off, which is not good either (yes, you can use quantization but if you want to preserve a specific groove of an external source, it's an issue). Seems like the drift is accumulating over the time, after 20 bars, it's very noticeable. Over 30 bars the notes were delayed approximately 1/32 of bar on 120 BPM.
@sinosoidal i realise we’re probably swamping you with requests atm, but now that I’m getting my head round automation, it’d be great to be able to label each automation lane.
I have a clip automating 21,23,24 etc. And it’s hard to remember what parameter is being automated by each.
Makes sense.
Automation improvements requests are growing. Big list already!
All of this improvements that have been requested in the last week or so are not simple changes. It will take some time so that we can work in automations.
Thanks! Added to fixes list.
I’ve added at least 3 things 😊 Thanks for listening to us - it means a lot round here as you probably know and we can be a bit demanding.
Automation works fine as is so not really high priority, just could be easier. I’m really enjoying LK though and will be posting some videos of my progress which will hopefully inspire some other people to buy.
Your feedback is what keep us motivated to improve LK. We are thankful for that!
Does LK allow to export Matrix/MIDI project as Ableton Live Set (als file)?
Yes...
Great - couldn't find it in manual somehow, my bad. Thanks!
The manual is quite outdated... again!
Am just revisiting/beginning (and somewhat intimidated by this vast megathread , is there a useful tut anyone could recommend?
