    yea i got my ipad gen 7 frozen on ios12 got some old stuff i dont wanna letgo..iSpark with all IAP and some other cht, oh and "wavestorm" pre-nurf

    Try accessing IAAs first, then AUs. This is a known problem in iOS 14, already discussed in this thread. Also, check for app updates; there's one for AUM already.

    How did your 14.0.1 update go? Any improvement to the auv3 preset issues or are we still better off waiting?

    I just updated to 14.01 from 13.7. All my auv3 plugins work, presets loads fine. This is the list of auv3 instruments that I have and tested in AUM:
    Axon 2

    Also all my auv3 fx plugins work and load presets too. There’s too many to list, but it includes plugins from Audio Damage, Toneboosters, Sugarbytes, Virsyn, Klevgrand, Eventide

    I've not done any deep dive yet but according to some it works a bit better...
    ...I've only been playing with the latest ZenBeats 2.0 update update, love the sounds from it's new NC-1'synth' :)

    Thanks. Updated iPhone 8 and it’s ok as far as performance but see nothing compelling me to update iPad until Apple and top devs have time to tweak.

    I am considering a phone-only update, but still nervous about it.

    The new beta of iOS 14.2 seems to have fixed the presets bug. At least it does for my AU's on my test device. It would be great if anyone can confirm this so I can update my bug report with Apple.

    Today i used Bluetooth mouse and keyboard (both not from Apple), maybe this is the result? :D

    iPad 8 has been out for a while and the Air 4 should be out soonish and if they have these kind of issues I'll stick with the iPad Air 2 until it stops working...

    FWIW iOS 14.01 fixed my behringer uca222 output volume for my iPad mini 5 iOS 14 created a huge volume reduction on its output that I could only just hear when turned right up. (weirdly it wasn’t a problem on my phone or iPad Air 2!!)

    Very happy with this was fixed as I love the portability of the uca222 with the mini

    I don't see how something like that can be hardware model related. I think it has to be some other kind of bug that would happen to you too if you under the same (unknown) circumstances. Using the Bluetooth mouse, as @tja mentioned, sounds like a possible cause.

    Could icon size be related to to the thing where the stuff gets zoomed when the cursor is over them?
    And then iPadOS 'forgets' to scale them back or scales down too much :D

    Anyways, I'm not using external mouse or keyboard with my iPad so I'll likely not bump into this...
