  • So...a Ruismaker 2.0.

Whoa, yeah, sure, a game changer, yeah, amazing.

  • To be a real gamechanger should be a gamechanger for everybody. This is not the case. What's important for me it could be not so important for you. I'm a rock guitar player and maybe a gamechanger for me would have been superior drummer on ios14. Not this synth drum machine. My respect for the company and their products of course.

So not a gamechanger for me.

  • There are ONLY two potential game changers right now.

    1. Ableton / Logic
    2. Drambo hosting AU.

    The rest, nonsense

  • Well, it if is Drumcomputer then it's probably not the same app that Jakob mentions in this video:

I don't think what he shows really matches Drumcomputers GUI...

    Also, if it is Drumcomputer...yawn...

  • It may be that we are facing an app avalanche that will case a hole in our pockets...
...some may even need to change underwear :D

This is one of most epic Jakob's videos ... i felt very much like "yeah, that's soo much ME" when i watched that .. this is EXACTLY how all my manual projects ends. All the time. @jakoB_haQ THANKS for showing me i'm not the only one :)))

Btw. he looks really COOL with that grey hair, it would be great to form alliance with Bo Beats and Gaz Williams !!! Wise wizards of synthreview youtube scene !

  • I haven’t heard any of this “rumbling” and this thread is amusing...

Nothing is a gamechanger for everybody (aside from Audiobus itself). Some even saw the release of Drambo as not particularly interesting.

I'm really looking forward to Drum Computer. As it's drum synthesis rather than sampling I'm not sure it'll cover ALL my bases (for example, I rather like slicing up drum loops as that's fun), but it'll certainly be a major part of the toolbox.

  • This thread was created in the spirit of fun. If anyone takes hype seriously they should probably stop using the internet as it's not a safe space for them ;)
In the meantime we get great new apps which improve our workflows each year and this one has been one of the best of the year for me.

As it’s sugarbytes that probably means not universal right?

    Probably iPadOS.
Sugarbytes only want footballers and oil barons with iPads to use their apps.

Only a little synth called “Unique” for iOS riffraff.

Did the desktop demo last night (again)... The updated version has sample import... I think DC sets a new standard for Drums (probability, Auv3, etc.), Something the industry cannot ignore, from Ableton Live to ZenBeats.. After you mess with this, you can’t do regular ‘drums’ anymore.. Nice..

Literally NOTHING never was gamechanger for everybody and never will be. We are too diverse group.

    Yeah, exactly, that's why. :-)

  • Yeah I’m messing with the desktop demo in between work stints today, seems well sweet so far...

  • Looks like the iOS link been pulled by SugarBytes on their website !

    Now that’s a game changer 😀

  • The sample options and sound design capabilities are great, you can combine two samples in each of the 8 instruments, one as a normal sample and one as a wavetable.

It was linking to Aparillo anyway

Can you import a sample in the AU plugin? Or is that only possible in the standalone. Thanks.

Haha I have both iPad and iPhone but like to move from one to the other. Still I’m constantly looking for new drum sounds so might pick this up anyway and just sample from it.

Yeah, if I can convince myself I like it on desktop, I know I’ll love it on the iPad, my nembrini collection can attest to that 🤣

I have both too, but on 4,7" phone I use only AUXY from time to time (Fuc**** subscription), tablet is so much more comfortable for me to play with apps.

The cheapest iPad 2020 is just perfect for music apps in reference to the price (A12, 3 GB, headphone jack). I will tell you more. The cheapest iPad is cheaper than the cheapest iPhone :o 329$ vs 399$ for iPhone SE 2020

  • Sample import looks interesting, load a sample into the Wavetable and it detects pitch and converts it into a wavetable containing 16 waves, with morphing. Load a sample into Resynth and it loops one cycle. Or press Sampler and it'll play normally, with adjustable start, end, with looping. Lots of modulation too.

This video doesn't show the new Sampler option in Resynth.
