Then it turned out he was paid $130,000 by Republican operatives. He recanted.

It's not a riddle. None of these people care about you or me. Anyone that wants to be in politics are egomaniacs that want as much power and money as possible. That's why it doesn't really matter who the president is and anyone who is letting their lives be dominated by politics are wasting their precious time on earth. I've been alive for almost 50 years and I can tell you my personal life has never been effected by who the president was or who was in office in any political/government position

I felt like you for most of my life @rms13. All that shit has no effect on me.

However, it does have an effect on a woman’s right to make her own decisions about her body, or the ability of 20,000,000 people to have health insurance and 150,000,000 with preexisting conditions. It makes a difference if you think climate change is real, or that the US should participate in the World Health Organization, or attempt to curb Iran’s nuclear ambitions. It matters if you think there is systemic racism in law enforcement and elsewhere, or want your medications delivered on time. It has an effect on many who now mistrust science, doctors and taking a potential vaccine. And now it matters if you think democracy’s central tenet of free elections should be preserved.

You can believe what you want, but it seems a lot of people are effected by who their leaders are. You can certainly voice your opinions, but just because you have opted out does not mean these issues are not real and effect people’s lives deeply.

Yes but they have the electoral count at 259-214. I believe that Biden will be the president and I personally don't care who is the president. I'm just pointing out how ridiculous all of this is. It's ridiculous that regular people are ready to go to war and/or try to ruin the lives of other regular people over what politician wins a popularity contest when none of these people have any of our best interests in mind.

For someone who pretends not to care who the president is, you seem to care an awful lot, enough to keep posting.
