It works fine in full-screen for me on an M1 Mac if I press the green maximise button.
Great update, by the way. Bought the excellent B3.
Really? I have large black bars to the left and right.
You're quite right. I get the black areas as well, but they don't seem as wide as the ones in your screenshot.
There is some context to this: this feature is made primarily for our large Brazilian user base who play in church using primarily Soundfonts. The Live performance mode therefore only creates instrument tracks so it is not for audio tracks as you won't be able to access the arranger screen in this mode.
Thanks! I'll look again into the screen issue on Mac, but I remember it was far from trivial to implement.
I can find the SF iap shop, but where’s the one for the app?
I am not sure what you mean?
eg how is the Evolution B3 iap accessed?
It doesn’t seem to be included in the soundfont shop.
Ah, right. Correct, since it's not a Soundfont.
It's near the top of the left list of instruments, underneath Evolution One.
The keyboard icon. Completed missed it on the phone.
If that's a true screenshot, it looks like your screen is slightly "taller", aspect ratio 16:10, while @dpeace's screen is a more conventional 16:9. So the app window fits yours better.
Edit: It looks like the app window aspect is 4:3, typical for iPads.
Confirmed. My display output is 16:9, and the window is 4:3.
I got it to work full-screen now on my Mac Mini. It was rather simple after all, but now on iPad I get a 'traditional' menu at the top and I need to test whether there are no problems introduced on iPhone/iPad.
Bought AEM.
Does it have Abelton Link ?
.
No, perhaps in future.
@dwrae - just wanted to thank you for enabling full-screen on a Mac. Much appreciated.
You are welcome. I would advise everyone to hold off updating to 7.1.8 now though since it contains a bug where it could crash when loading a project when you have instrument tracks armed. Version 7.1.9 is uploaded to Apple but it always takes a while for it to be reviewed.
Release notes for 7.1.8/7.1.9:
7.1.9 live now (UK).
Version 7.2.1 is rolling out over the next 7 days:
