Audio Evolution Mobile Studio 4.1.0 for iOS released:

Backspace = Delete track
Escape = Next

Not at this time. It has MIDI Clock send only.
As long as AEM is the master, you can send clock to something like Audiobus, which can then bridge to Link.
How does looping work in AEM?. Does it do copies of the clip or is it one clip expanded?. Hope you understand the question... I like to work with clips but if looping works well I would love to give this daw a try, I’ve heard good things about it.
Cheers
@dwrae thank you for the updates.
Audio Evolution Mobile Studio 4.2.0 released:
, thanks !
A late reply but yes, choosing "repeat" on a clip will create virtual alias clips using the same original audio file.
A new file will only be created if you process one of the clips.
Good luck tomorrow and many thanks!! I hope all goes well. In that light, I'm not sure if you should update to 4.3.0 that has just been released in case of unexpected bugs.
Audio Evolution Mobile Studio 4.3.0 for iOS released:
Added the 'Toneboosters Compressor V4' plug-in.
Added an option to the Settings to keep the display turned on.
New look for the 'Mixdown project' and 'Export stems' dialogs.
Added 32-bit and 32-bit float to the export formats as well as an option to maximize output (normalizes to 0dB).
Added 'DSF Basses' to the instrument shop.
Presets button was not displayed for the Toneboosters V4 effects. Solved.
Thank you @dwrae for yet another great update. That compressor is gonna be a great in house add on. I really like this app.
Oh wow this has all or at least several the toneboosters effects now!
@dwrae Thanks for the regular updates. Do you have any estimates for when tempo/time signature changes might be available?
@dwrae
Is realtime loop recording with metronome count in planned for any future updates ?
I expect it to be released within 2 months.
Not any time soon. The recording is not so much the issue. It is what you do with all the recordings afterwards.
I’m not in a huge hurry, but midi-mappable faders, etc. is all I’m waiting on for this to be my iOS DAW of choice. Okay, this and BM3 are already my go to DAWs, but fader controls would get AEMS much more use! Soon?
Thanks for the updates.
Waiting for - Receive Midi Clock
Thanks
Brilliant. Eagerly awaiting that feature
Is AUv3 multi in/out on the road map?
@banalytic ! I would ask your question here about the audio 😎
I bought AEM, mainly to arrange individual audio tracks recorded in AUM.
now I have the problem that there is crackling in AEM (the original recordings have no interfering noises). It is completely irrelevant how I set the audio buffer size. the noises can be heard at 128 frames as well as at 4096.
i use an ipad 2020 (ios 14.4.2)
the problem only occurs when I automate an audio sample (volume / pan).
The original sample doesn't crackle. It only starts as soon as the automation is on.
What can that be? does anyone have an idea why this could be?
Is this happening in the mixdown as well?
yes. that's the main problem...
Sounds like the code to prevent zipper-noise isn't triggered. I'll see if I can reproduce it today.
Couldn't help myself and tried right away. I cannot reproduce it here (tried volume and panning separately and then combined on one track). Would you mind sharing your project? Or perhaps you can reduce the problem to one track and send a project of only that track? If you do, please send an email to [email protected].
thx a lot. i will send you an example later the day!
Vocal Tune Pro? Does it have a piano roll like Melodyne? I might buy AEM just for this!
I would like to praise the incredibly fast, good and friendly support from davy / audio evolution!
