A new and very interesting synth from SonicLAB currently on discount (and a bit more if you're already a Fundamental owner). This is not a Hainbach collaboration, but I'm betting he loves it - very deep, and capable of some incredible sounds...worth trying the demo at least...

Kosmo - 3 track based Sound Generator and Groove-box
Kosmo is a virtual instrument based on Native Instruments Reaktor 6.4 (Full Version). Taking inspiration from the so-called “West Coast” synthesis and old soviet synthesizers aesthetic, Kosmo employs and simplifies some of their most important features to build a 3-track experimental groove-box and sound generator combining a distinctive and raw sound with a user-friendly interface offering many creative capabilities. To research and explore your sound, you can move through folded triangle oscillators, low pass gates, cycling envelopes, random sequencer, chaotic LFOs, XY pad and a set of effects. In few steps, you can make a chaotic and distorted percussion pattern as well as an evolving and dreamy soundscape.

Waves has a one day sale.

Good looking out fam.
The one day sale is on its second day. There will be a $29 sale tomorrow too. 😉
That being said, everyplugin.com has them for less, plus the code YNY23 gives you more off. I’m thinking of getting inphase to use for teaching.
Prodigye.FM has a blog post listing the 20 best free trap drum kits of 2021. Cheers!

No! No more Trap!
I’m now making trap dubstep.
with a drill twist.
I'm not offending people who make trap, dubstep, techno, hiphop etc.
It seems in my mind, that the sample market is flooded with trap samples, and accuse me if i'm wrong, I think a large part of the sellers are there for a share in the market, instead of creativity. But that's how the market works, haha.
@Identor I'm sure you're right, and it makes sense. There will always be opportunists looking to capitalize/profit on what's popular or trendy. It also makes sense to target the most popular genres -- particularly sample heavy genres.
Me neither, but when a genre becomes so
much “construction kit” instead of being about what the song needs, then it seems it’s run its course.
Just my opinion, take it for what it’s worth as someone who really doesn’t know much about the sub genres of electronic or pop music.
And I agree 100%, market share is also a sign that a genre is consuming itself. It happened with 80’s metal, grunge, jam bands, nu metal, bebop, swing, free jazz, romantic, Gregorian chant, atonal classical, and whatever else. Nothing new.
Lol
Has anyone successfully installed Hybrid Keys on an M1? Native Access just keeps saying waiting and never downloads.
thanks ! they have a bundle at 49 dollars. anyone knows about their apps ?
Humble Bundle
https://www.humblebundle.com/software/mega-sound-designer-loop-crate-vol-2-software
Been digging the demo on this... may end up biting given the new tracks it is finding it’s way into.
Stutter Edit 2 is in this bundle for $49...

That is an awesome deal just for Stutter Edit 2
The R2 reverb is really nice as well. That is a crazy value bundle if you don't already own these.
I think I might have to get this, I already have Iris 2 and a could of the others they’ve given away, but I was going to grab break tweaker anyway and the stutter does look very special, though I intend to fully misuse it with long samples and slower tempos...
Hi Gang
I picked up the Cherry Audio synths in the Humble Bundle and have the option to upgrade Voltage Modular Ignite to the Core + Electro Drums, has anyone got the Core + Electro Drums?
Thoughts please?
Thanks.
@LoopyFruit They offer a demo for it, so that is what I suggest. Probably best to see how you get on with Ignite before upgrading to Core.
Cherry Audio regularly has sales, so I wouldn't worry about missing out on anything.
Hi tele
I never thought of that LOL ........many thanks.
I have it and the ARP 2500 modules and it sounds great. Worth it IMO.
