  • @pxlhg and @ecou The official email address for 4Pockets support is support @ 4pockets.com.

Sometimes very responsive, others not at all.

Thank you! I'll wait a bit to see if he responds on FB, I'm gonna be busy with Reason14 (just out) for a while anyway.🎹🥁🎸

Sorry for the dumb question, but there is a way to record the midi notes from Helium in Korg Gadget? My idea is to import a midi file in Helium and record the notes in the Korg Gadget piano roll, to overcome the limititaion of KG (the 'import midi' function create a new project and i need to import midi into my current project). Hope it make sense :)
    Thanks in advance.

Sure, as long as you have another host, like AUM or Loopy Pro, you can send the midi out from the Helium plugin to Gadget. Using AUM as an example:

    • Load Gadget standalone.
    • (optional) Load Gadget as an input in AUM. This step is not necessary but may be convent for switching to Gadget when you're in AUM
    • In AUM's routing matrix, route the output from Helium to Gadget and start AUM playing (enable host sync in Helium if needed).
    • This should already start sending MIDI to the first channel in Gadget if Gadget MIDI Input Mode is set to Easy. If you need more control over which Gadgets get the MIDI, change MIDI Input Mode to Advanced, expand the mixer, then tap All at the bottom of the channel and filter the MIDI channel there.
    • Arm Record and press Play in Gadget. You should be able to record the incoming MIDI.

It may be more convenient if you turn Link and Link Start/Stop on in both AUM and Gadget.

  • Hi @wim , thanks a lot for your help!
