The iOS TestFlight should be approved within the next day or so... while you are waiting, here are the Mac and Windows versions!

Be sure to uninstall the last one I did (especially the plugins), as I've changed the plugin id, the new one will show up under Sonosaurus now, instead of Xenakios.

Thanks, your feedback via PM works well... probably best not to pollute this thread with it :)

  • There are many controls, and it’s challenging to use for iPhone sized screens. If people have ideas about how to make it better, feel free to let me know. Much more usable on iPad or computers…

Wow I didn’t think it would be available on iPhone. Will definitely give it a shot -would great to paulstretch in a waiting room etc… iPad version on first impression is just like the PaulXStretch Vst but on iPad and working as expected. I love it!

As an iOS developer who started on an iPhone 3G, I will always provide my apps for phones, even if they suck on them sometimes!

@sonosaurus For smaller phones, I think you could probably just put the label and number entry box on a separate line from the slider, and no further optimizations would be needed.

    But if you want...

The sliders could also be thicker vertically, and they could use a rounded rectangle for the "grabbable part". They could also change color when touched. I'm thinking light green.

And for people with larger thumbs, it might be nice to have the option, for the sliders to move +/- the distance from the first touch, rather than jump to the touched point on the slider. (It's kind of nice to have both options, for "live performance", rather than just rendering an audio file.)

Since these are my opinions on the ui design, and not bug-related, I thought it would be appropriate to post them here, in case others want to weigh in.

Or use the kind of bar sliders that have the title and value inside… the downside there is harder for it to be editable by typing AND being able to double tap to get the default.

I prefer when the slider doesn’t jump, but I saw the value in leaving them as they were for live and quick tweaking. I will add an option for them to go either way.

    Yes, it will be free!

  • Cool. Does it take live audio input into a buffer or do you need to load an audio file?
